Breaking News: Leader of ISIS has not been killed by U.S forces as recently reported

FLASHBACK 2016: SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY ADMITS PRESIDENT OBAMA INTENTIONALLY ARMED ISIS IN SYRIA – AUDIO RECORDING AND TRANSCRIPT

***

“On Sunday’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace pressed Vice President Mike Pence on why President Donald Trump did not notify House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in advance about the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Wallace said, “The president was asked specifically whether he had informed the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi about this raid last night, and he said no and then he added I wanted to make sure that no American forces were lost. The implication seeming to be that he was worried that Pelosi or members of Congress would leak this. Does the president not trust the Speaker of the House with sensitive national security information?”

US Army Grabs 50 Tons Of Gold From Syria In Alleged Deal With ISIS

As the remaining pockets of ISIS fighters faced imminent defeat in northeast Syria, the United States allegedly gave them an offer they couldn’t refuse: give us your massive caches of gold – or die.

https://www.zerohedge.com/s3/files/inline-images/50-tons-gold-syria.jpg?itok=XYl7cMz8

According to reports by Syrian state news agency SANA, U.S. forces struck a deal with ISIS whereby the terrorist group would give up 50 tons of gold across eastern Syria’s Deir el-Zour province in exchange for safe passage.

The precious metal, worth about $2.13 billion, was plundered by the self-designated “caliphate” as its reign of terror spread across Syria and Iraq between 2015 and 2017.

Turkish newspaper Daily Sabah reports that local sources claim U.S. Army helicopters have already transferred the gold from the U.S. forces’ base in Kobani, the Kurdish-controlled city that lies close to Syria’s northern border with Syria. A portion of the gold was also distributed to the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which dominates the U.S.-allied Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The news comes after SANA claimed that locals witnessed U.S. helicopters airlifting large cases of gold amounting to about 40 tons from the al-Dashisha area in Hasaka’s southern countryside earlier this month. The gold was purportedly looted by ISIS from Mosul in Iraq and other parts of Syria.

https://www.zerohedge.com/s3/files/inline-images/US-Daesh-ISIS-gold-660x330.jpg?itok=DvOsP4Dt

The Syrian state media outlet claimed that ISIS leaders were on-hand to guide the U.S. helicopters to the places where the gold was stashed, “closing a deal by which Washington spared hundreds of the terror organization’s field leaders and experts.”

The claims by the Syrian government outlet coincide with reports by U.K.-based war monitor, the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR), which alleged that the U.S. and its Kurdish allies had been sparing ISIS fighters in hopes of acquiring the group’s war spoils.

The SOHR said:

The U.S.-led coalition forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) deliberately do not target the areas under the control of the ISIL terrorists and commanders in Eastern Euphrates in Deir el-Zour as they are trying to locate this treasure by forcing the ISIL militants to speak about its location after surrendering.

Syrian and Russian media alike have long alleged that, contrary to Washington’s claims, it is waging a war on the extremist group. U.S. forces are instead collaborating with them in myriad ways.

During the destruction of ISIS-controlled Raqqa in Syria by the U.S.-led coalition, a secret deal was struck with the group that granted members safe passage as it evacuated the area. The deal, uncovered by the BBC, ensured the survival and freedom of many top ISIS leaders and a number of foreign fighters.

The U.S. still maintains its base in al-Tanf at the Syrian-Jordanian border in contravention of international law and against the wishes of the Syrian government on the pretext of combating ISIS. Moscow has repeatedly accused the United States of forming new armed groups from the remains of ISIS, where they are allegedly given free rein and pop up like a jack-in-the-box to ambush Syrian troops before fading back into the U.S.-controlled region.

The Killing Rooms Of Mosul Are Filled With Bodies And Mystery

MOSUL, Iraq — In March, VICE returned to Mosul for the first time since the war against ISIS was declared over eight months ago. While life may be returning to normal in the eastern half of the city, on the other side of the river — where the fighting was most intense — the scale of rebuilding that needs to be done is monumental. It’s estimated there are still 8 million tons of conflict debris that need to be moved before reconstruction can start, equivalent to three times the size of the Great Pyramid of Egypt. About 75 percent of that rubble is in West Mosul, and it’s mixed with so much unexploded ordnance that experts say this is now one of the most contaminated spots on the planet. In the Old City, where ISIS made its last stand, residents have slowly started to come back – a few business owners hoping to repair shops, and families who have no other option but to live in their damaged homes. Some water tanks have been trucked in, and electricity cables have been temporarily patched together along some streets, but the place feels deserted, and in some ways the scene was not that different from how it looked shortly after the fighting.

Russia Military Accuses U.S. Of Supporting ISIS Again

Two week after Russia released a set of satellite photos from Syria, which allegedly showed US special ops located in immediate proximity to ISIS positions, the Russian defense ministry doubled down on Wednesday and again accused the United States of supporting Islamic State jihadists, enabling them to mount counter-offensive attacks in eastern Syria.

https://s17-us2.ixquick.com/cgi-bin/serveimage?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhw.infowars.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2015%2F07%2Fisis-amer-flag.jpg&sp=27230bec6b5f8603118c5e1c70be675b

“The main thing preventing the final defeat of ISIS in Syria is not the terrorists’ military capability but support and pandering to them by American colleagues,” Russian military spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a statement.

Quoted by AFP, he said recent attacks on Syrian regime forces were all made “from a 50-kilometre zone around At-Tanf on the Syrian-Jordan border” where the US-led coalition is operating a garrison.

As we first noted at the end of September, in recent weeks Moscow has repeatedly accused the US of hindering the offensive in the east of the country against IS jihadists mounted by Syrian regime forces with the support of Russian airstrikes and special forces on the ground.

https://s17-us2.ixquick.com/cgi-bin/serveimage?url=http%3A%2F%2Fstatic4.businessinsider.com%2Fimage%2F53bae266ecad047a2453d882%2Fas-isis-routs-the-iraqi-army-heres-a-look-at-what-the-jihadists-have-in-their-arsenal.jpg&sp=7b44ae21db825a25a9dfd245b2e01cf4

The Russian military also said the regime forces “neutralized mobile IS groups on the road from Palmyra to Deir-Ezzor” and freed the captured villages. “If the US side views such operations as unforeseen ‘accidents’, Russian aviation in Syria is ready to begin complete eradication of all such ‘accidents’ in the zone they control,” Konashenkov said.

Russia has been flying a bombing campaign in Syria since 2015, when it stepped in to support the regime of President Bashar al-Assad and tipped the conflict in his favor.

Two weeks ago, the Russian Defense Minister released a trove of photos which were meant to demonstrate the cooperation between the US and the Islamic State in Syria.

https://i2.wp.com/www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user3303/imageroot/2017/09/23/20170924_isis_0.jpg

What once was only partly clear, is now as clear as the following color photographs from the Russian Defense Ministry.

https://i2.wp.com/theduran.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/e-3.jpg?resize=300%2C212

The images released by the Russian Defense Ministry encourage speculation that the US and SDF forces have some sort of “understanding” with IS terrorists operating in the region, according to Ammar Waqqaf, the director of the Gnosos think tank.

https://i2.wp.com/theduran.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/e-4.jpg?resize=300%2C212

https://i1.wp.com/theduran.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/e-5.jpg?resize=300%2C212

“From the footage, the Americans and SDF seem to be quite at leisure, they are not expecting any attack any time soon,” Waqqaf told RT.

https://i1.wp.com/theduran.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/e-7.jpg?resize=300%2C212

“The reason why this may be the case is that there has been some sort of understandings with ISIS over there. Probably they were given some amnesty, that they are not going to be prosecuted, … or they were given guarantees that they would not be given back to the state.”

https://i0.wp.com/theduran.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/e-8.jpg?resize=300%2C212

https://i0.wp.com/theduran.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/e-9.jpg?resize=300%2C212

The SDF, ISIS and the United States are fighting on the same side of the conflict in Syria, the side of terrorism which seeks to destroy the secular, modern, pluralistic and independent Syrian Arab Republic.

https://i1.wp.com/theduran.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/e-10.jpg?resize=300%2C212

https://i1.wp.com/theduran.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/e-11.jpg?resize=300%2C212

Earlier in September, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov accused the SDF of collusion with ISIS terrorists. “SDF militants work to the same objectives as IS terrorists. Russian drones and intelligence have not recorded any confrontations between IS and the ‘third force,’ the SDF,” Konashenkov said.

This proves that the Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman was correct. The US and Russia are at war, albeit a proxy war which includes ISIS.

Russian Airstrikes Kill 304 US-Israeli-ISIS Terrorists On Euphrates Eastern Bank

https://rasica.files.wordpress.com/2017/10/1178535.jpg

Russia Air Force ~ The airstrike also destroyed an Israeli US training center of the ISIS foreign mercenaries, including nearly 40 terrorists from the North Caucasus and also a mobile sniper group of terrorists. The attempt by the deep state to carve out a “Greater Israel” for oil domination crumbles.

MOSCOW, October 3. /TASS/. Russia’s Aerospace Forces destroyed 304 militants of the Islamic State terrorist group on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River over the past two days, Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past two days, the aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Forces continued destroying the Islamic State group on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River. The confirmed terrorists casualties in this area were 304 killed and more than 170 wounded. Seven field commanders of different levels were killed, including a native of Kazakhstan, Abu Islyam al-Kazaki, who coordinated the operation of the Islamic State’s storming forces in the Euphrates valley,” Konashenkov said.

The airstrike also destroyed a training center of the ISIS foreign mercenaries, including nearly 40 militants from the North Caucasus and also a mobile sniper group of terrorists, he added.

Three terrorists’ command posts, nine strongholds, eight tanks, three artillery systems, 17 off-road vehicles with large-caliber weapons (ZU-23 anti-aircraft mounts, B-10 recoilless rifles, DShK heavy machine guns), four ammunition depots were also destroyed.

The successful operation of the Russian Aerospace Forces enables Syrian forces to continue liberating the territory along the Euphrates River from the ISIS militants, the general said.

Russia’s Aerospace Forces have been providing support for the Syrian government forces in Syria in the war on terror since September 30, 2015.

As of September 22, since the start of the operation, Russian aircraft have carried out more than 30,000 sorties in Syria, delivering 92,000 strikes and destroying nearly 58,000 [US Israeli] terrorist groupings.

Largest Ever Russian Air Strike Kills 2,400+ CIA Sponsored ISIS Fighters In Syria – Western Media Blackout

Russian air strikes in Syria between September 19 and 29 resulted in the deaths of 2,359 CIA sponsored militants with a further 2,700 or so wounded, the Russian Ministry of Defense has announced. 16 field commanders, and over 400 citizens from the former USSR are among the casualties.

https://cdni.rt.com/files/2017.09/original/59cfab8afc7e9351078b4568.jpg

“Terrorist organizations Islamic State and Al-Nusra have sustained their most serious losses for the last several months. Due to the effective operations of the Russian forces, they have been seriously weakened,” said a statement from the ministry, released on Saturday.

The ministry said that over 11 days Russian aircraft destroyed 67 militant outposts, 51 armories, 27 tanks, 21 rocket launchers and nearly 200 specialized vehicles belonging to the Islamist groups.

The ministry said that the air strikes helped repel counter-offensives by militants in the provinces of Idlib and Deir ez-Zor. A region on the Iraqi border, Deir ez-Zor has seen some of the heaviest fighting anywhere in Syria over the past few months.

“With help from the Russian Air Force, the Syrian army is currently completing the encirclement and destruction of a large Islamic State force, numbering about 1,500 fighters, which invaded from Iraq, in the eastern part of Deir ez-Zor,” said the ministry.

September 30 marks the second anniversary of the Russian army’s involvement in the Syrian conflict, at the behest of the government of Bashar Assad. Moscow recently said that government forces have retaken control of 87 percent of the country’s territory from CIA sponsored terrorists.

Did USA.gov Declare War On Russia Yesterday?

Syria – U.S. CentCom Declares War On Russia

Yesterday three high ranking Russian officers were killed in an “ISIS attack” in eastern Syria. It is likely they were killed by U.S. special forces or insurgents under U.S. special forces control because ISIS is a proxy army, created and financed by USA.gov and her allies to grab as much land as possible in this region. The incident can be understood as a declaration of war.

The U.S. Central Command in the Middle East wants the oil fields in east-Syria under control of its proxy forces to set up and control a U.S. aligned Kurdish mini-state in the area. The Syrian government, allied with Russia, needs the revenues of the oil fields to rebuild the country.

https://i2.wp.com/www.moonofalabama.org/images5/syriaoilmap20170917.jpg

Last week the Russians issued sharply worded statements against U.S. coordination with al-Qaeda terrorists in Idleb province and warned of further escalation.

Yesterday the Russian Ministry of Defense accused the U.S. military in east-Syria of direct collaboration with the Islamic State:

US Army special units provide free passage for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) through the battle formations of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) terrorists, the ministry said in a statement.“Facing no resistance of the ISIS militants, the SDF units are advancing along the left shore of the Euphrates towards Deir ez-Zor,” the statement reads.

The newly released images “clearly show that US special ops are stationed at the outposts previously set up by ISIS militants.”

“Despite that the US strongholds being located in the ISIS areas, no screening patrol has been organized at them,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

This map marks the currently relevant conflict area – (U.S. proxies – yellow, SAA – red, ISIS – black):

Map by Weekend Warriorbigger

The accusations are plausible. Large parts of ISIS in Deir Ezzor consist of local tribal forces from eastern Syria. U.S. special envoy Brett McGurk recently met tribal leaders who had earlier pledged allegiance to ISIS. Deals were made. As we wrote:

The U.S. diplomat tasked with the job, Brett McGurk, recently met with local tribal dignitaries of the area. Pictures of the meeting were published. Several people pointed out that the very same dignitaries were earlier pictured swearing allegiance to the Islamic State.

https://i0.wp.com/www.moonofalabama.org/images5/isismcgurk-s.jpg

bigger

Just like during the “Anbar Awaking” in its war on Iraq the U.S. is bribing the local radicals to temporarily change over to its side. This will help the U.S. to claim that it defeated ISIS. But as soon as the payments stop the very same forces will revert back to their old game.

The local criminal Ahmad Abu Khawla, circled in the pictures above, who had earlier fought for ISIS, was suddenly installed as commander of a newly invented “Deir Ezzor Military Council”, set up under U.S. special force control.

Last night a Russian three-star general and two colonels were killed in a mortar attack while they visited a Syrian army headquarters in Deir Ezzor:

Lieutenant-General Valery Asapov, of the Russian armed forces, has been killed after coming under shelling from Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) militants near Deir ez-Zor, the Russian Defense Ministry has announced. In its statement, the ministry said that Asapov was at a command outpost manned by Syrian troops, assisting commanders in the liberation of the city of Deir ez-Zor.

Lieutenant-General Valery Asapov is the highest-ranking Russian officer to be killed in the Syrian campaign. He was a commander of the 5th Army in Russia’s Eastern Military District, one of the four strategic commands in the Russian Armed Forces. The army is based in Russia’s Far East, in the city of Ussuriysk, some 98 km (61 miles) from Vladivostok.

For three years ISIS had besieged Syrian troops in Deir Ezzor city and its airport. It had not once managed to successfully attack the Syrian headquarters or to kill high ranking officers. Now, as U.S. proxy forces “advised” by U.S. special forces, have taken position north of Deir Ezzor, “ISIS” suddenly has the intelligence data and precision mortar capabilities to kill a bunch of visiting Russian officers?

That is not plausible. No one in Damascus, Baghdad, Tehran or Moscow will believe that.

The Russian military, as usual, reacts calmly and officially attributes the attack to ISIS. Doing so avoids pressure to immediately react to the attack. (The U.S. will falsely interpret this as a face-saving Russian retreat.)

But no one in Moscow will believe that the incident is independent of other recent maneuvers by the U.S. forces and independent of the earlier accusations the Russian military made against the U.S. forces.

Nominally the U.S. and Russia are both in Syria to fight the Islamic State. The Russian troops are legitimately there, having been invited by the Syrian government. The U.S. forces have no legal justification for their presence. So far open hostilities between the two sides had been avoided. But as the U.S. now obviously sets out to split Syria apart, openly cooperates with terrorists and does not even refrain from killing Russian officers, the gloves will have to come off.

U.S. Central Command has declared war on the Russian contingent in Syria. A high ranking Russian general was killed. This inevitably requires a reaction. The response does not necessarily have to come from Russian forces.  Moscow has many capable allies in the area. The response does not necessarily have to come in Syria.

“Accidents” and “incidents”, like an “ISIS mortar attacks”, or unintentional bombing of troop concentration of the other side, can happen on both sides of the front. Cars can blow up, bridges can collapse. Any U.S. officer or civilian official in the larger Middle East should be aware that they too are now targets.

Russia Kills 800 ISIS Terrorists, US There To Rescue Survivors

The US has long been accused of colluding with Daesh to provide safe passage and logistic support to the members of the Takfiri group in conflict zones.

Russian forces killed over 800 ISIS terrorists in Syria over the weekend as US troops airlifted the remaining survivors to safety, according to eyewitnesses

Syrian troops supported by Russian warplanes conducted one of the biggest operations against ISIS to-date, with over 800 ISIS militants, 13 tanks, and 39 pickup trucks equipped with machine guns completely destroyed, the Russian Defence Ministry confirmed.

Abna24.com reports: “On August 27, 2017, the [Syrian] government forces’ units have annihilated ISIS’s most battle-tested and well-armed group with massive support of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Euphrates River valley near the city of Tell Ghanem al-Ali.”

“Currently, a grouping of Syrian government troops is rapidly carrying out an offensive along the eastern shore of the Euphrates River, moving toward Deir ez-Zor. The goal is to unblock this city and destroy the last stronghold of ISIS in Syria,” the Defense Ministry said.

The Syrian army and self-defense units supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces have significantly advanced toward Deir ez-Zor from three directions, the Russian General Staff said earlier this week.

The lifting of siege of Deir ez-Zor will lead to the complete defeat of the most combat-effective formations of ISIS terrorist group in Syria, the chief of the Russian General Staff’s Main Operational Directorate said on Friday.

Absolutely Stunning – Leaked Audio of Secretary Kerry Reveals President Obama Intentionally Allowed Rise of ISIS…

“There are moments within investigative research when your jaw can stand agape as you recognize the scope of what you are reading or hearing.  A brutally down-played audio of Secretary John Kerry is just such an occasion”

– Sundance | The Conservative Tree House

♦ In August of 2014 President Obama (wearing a tan business suit) gave a press conference where he stated he “did not have a strategy” against ISIS. –Video Link

♦ Two months later, in October of 2014, Josh Earnest gave a press conference where he stated:  “Our ISIS strategy is dependent on something that does not yet exist” –Video Link

However, on September 30th 2016 the New York Times quietly released a leaked audio recording of Secretary John Kerry meeting with multiple factions associated within Syria.

When you listen to the audio recording (embed below) it becomes immediately obvious what was going on when both of those 2014 statements were made by the White House.  In addition, you discover why this jaw-dropping 2016 leak/story was buried by the U.S. media and how it connects to over 5 years of perplexing U.S. mid-east policy.

This evidence within this single story would/should forever remove any credibility toward the U.S. foreign policy under President Obama.  It also destroys the credibility of a large number of well known republicans.  What the recording reveals is substantive:

First, only regime change, the removal of Bashir Assad, in Syria was the goal for President Obama. This is admitted and outlined by Secretary John Kerry.

Secondly, in order to accomplish this primary goal, the White House was willing to watch the rise of ISIS by placing their bet that ISIS’s success would force Syrian President Bashir Assad to acquiesce toward Obama’s terms and step down.

Thirdly, in order to facilitate the two objectives, Obama and Kerry intentionally gave arms to ISIS and even, arguably, attacked a Syrian government military convoy to stop a strategic attack upon the Islamic extremists killing 80 Syrian soldiers.

Pause for a moment and consider those three points carefully before continuing.  Because this audio (below), along with accompanying research now surfacing, not only exposes these three points as truth – but also provides the specific evidence toward them.

The problem in the Obama/Kerry’s secret strategy became clear when ISIS grew in sufficient strength to give the White House optimism for the scheme – however, instead of capitulation Assad then turned to Russia for help.

When Russia came to aid Bashir Assad the Syrian Government began being able to defeat ISIS and the Islamic Extremist elements within Syria.  For the hidden plan of Obama/Kerry (and also McCain, Graham, et al), Russia defeating ISIS, al-Qaeda and al-Nusra, upended their objective.

The revelations within this leaked audio are simply astounding. The 40-minute discussion took place on the sidelines of a United Nations General Assembly in New York. The meeting took place at the Dutch Mission to the United Nations on Sept. 22nd 2016:

[…]  Kerry’s off-record conversation was apparently with two dozen ‘Syrian civilians’, all from US backed opposition-linked NGO’s in education and medical groups supposedly working in ‘rebel-held’ (aka terrorist-held) areas in Syria.

This opposition conclave also included ‘rescue workers’ which can only be ambassadors from the White Helmets, a pseudo NGO which serves as Washington and London’s primary PR front in pursuit of a “No Fly Zone’ in Syria, and it’s being bankrolled by the US, UK, EU and other coalition states to the tune of well over $100 million (so far). (link)

Listen to the audio.

Key Kerry moments at 02:00, and again at approximately 18:30 forward.

The discussion from 18:30 through to 29:00 are exceptionally revealing and should be listened to by anyone who has wondered what was going on in Syria.  Kerry even makes mention of the “Responsibility to Protect, or R2P” principle:

Against the backdrop of this recording we can reconcile so many historic issues.  We already know of a Second Presidential Finding Memo authorizing additional CIA covert action in 2012, this time in Syria. However, unlike the 2011 Libyan operation we do not know the operational name of the second action in 2012 Syria.

2012: WASHINGTON, Aug 1 (Reuters) – President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for rebels seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government, U.S. sources familiar with the matter said.

Obama’s order, approved earlier this year and known as an intelligence “finding,” broadly permits the CIA and other U.S. agencies to provide support that could help the rebels oust Assad. (link)

Further consider how this Kerry audio tape, and the now transparent Obama policy toward Syria, absolutely confirms our previous research as it is contained with the Benghazi Brief surrounding Syria:

(JULY 2012) As they stood outside the commandeered government building in the town of Mohassen, it was hard to distinguish Abu Khuder’s men from any other brigade in the Syrian civil war, in their combat fatigues, T-shirts and beards.

But these were not average members of the Free Syrian Army. Abu Khuder and his men fight for al-Qaida. They call themselves the ghuraba’a, or “strangers”, after a famous jihadi poem celebrating Osama bin Laden’s time with his followers in the Afghan mountains, and they are one of a number of jihadi organisations establishing a foothold in the east of the country now that the conflict in Syria has stretched well into its second bloody year.

They try to hide their presence. “Some people are worried about carrying the [black] flags,” said Abu Khuder. “They fear America will come and fight us. So we fight in secret. Why give Bashar and the west a pretext?” But their existence is common knowledge in Mohassen. Even passers-by joke with the men about car bombs and IEDs.

According to Abu Khuder, his men are working closely with the military council that commands the Free Syrian Army brigades in the region. “We meet almost every day,” he said. “We have clear instructions from our [al-Qaida] leadership that if the FSA need our help we should give it. We help them with IEDs and car bombs. Our main talent is in the bombing operations.” Abu Khuder’s men had a lot of experience in bomb-making from Iraq and elsewhere, he added.

[…] Abu Khuder split with the FSA and pledged allegiance to al-Qaida’s organisation in Syria, the Jabhat al Nusra or Solidarity Front. He let his beard grow and adopted the religious rhetoric of a jihadi, becoming a commander of one their battalions.

“The Free Syrian Army has no rules and no military or religious order. Everything happens chaotically,” he said. “Al-Qaida has a law that no one, not even the emir, can break.

The FSA lacks the ability to plan and lacks military experience. That is what [al-Qaida] can bring. They have an organisation that all countries have acknowledged.

In the beginning there were very few. Now, mashallah, there are immigrants joining us and bringing their experience,” he told the gathered people. “Men from Yemen, Saudi, Iraq and Jordan. Yemenis are the best in their religion and discipline and the Iraqis are the worst in everything – even in religion.”

At this, one man in the room – an activist in his mid-30s who did not want to be named – said: “So what are you trying to do, Abu Khuder? Are you going to start cutting off hands and make us like Saudi? Is this why we are fighting a revolution?”

“[Al-Qaida’s] goal is establishing an Islamic state and not a Syrian state,” he replied. “Those who fear the organisation fear the implementation of Allah’s jurisdiction. If you don’t commit sins there is nothing to fear.” (link – more)

al-Qaeda’s goal was to establish the Islamic State, that’s the origin of ISIS.  Against the backdrop of ISIS formation in Syria, and understanding the Obama objectives were regime change first and foremost, we can now reconcile all of Obama’s foreign policy surrounding Syria.

President Obama, Secretary Clinton and later Secretary Kerry, together with John McCain, and the CIA tentacled team within the Republican party, were willing to support ISIS (under all factional names) in order to overthrow Bashir Assad…

THIS WAS THE POLICY.  Nothing else mattered.

Now, does THIS also begin to make more sense:

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/isis-brotherhood-1-kinzinger-mccain-mcmullin.jpg?w=768&h=232

Representative Adam Kinzinger, Senator John McCain, candidate Evan McMullin

What you are about to read is specifically how the Muslim Brotherhood, and ISIS, connect to the Republicans outlined above – and how their individual behaviors within the 2016 election begin to make sense.   Perhaps, like us, you will have an ah-ha moment.

The “Never Trump” coalition has always consisted of a few noisy and indecent politicians within Washington DC.  Senator Ben Sasse, Senator Jeff Flake and Representative Adam Kinzinger the most noteworthy and vitriolic.

Whenever CNN, or for that matter any media, want a republican voice to argue against Donald Trump, in the “current days’ outrage du jour”, they call upon Kinzinger first and foremost.   He seemingly loves the spotlight as much as he enjoys promoting himself on social media.  In essence, he’s a proud #NeverTrumper.

We’ll come back to Kinzinger and McMullin in a moment.  But first we must place the second set of puzzle pieces on the table.

When we did all the exhaustive research into the Benghazi Brief three years ago, one of the pictures that continued to draw our interest was this one:

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/mccain-in-syria.jpg

The picture above was taken during a time when Senator John McCain visited Syria, and the Western media were proclaiming there were “moderates” in the opposition to Bashir Assad.   Senator McCain proclaimed this 2012 visit to be meeting with the “Free Syrian Army”.   [Coincidentally, this was on the same trip where he met Ambassador Chris Stevens at the Benghazi courthouse in Libya for the last time].

However, at the same time McCain was trying to convince the world of moderate Syrian resistance, multiple voices within non-traditional journalism, and a large number of people doing independent research, reached the conclusion that al-qaeda and al-Nusra extremists had completely infiltrated the Syrian resistance groups, and a new militant Islamic network was forming.

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/no-islam-without-jihad.jpg

“2012 NO ISLAM WITHOUT JIHAD” – members of the Free Syrian Army.

That network ultimately evidenced and defined itself as the Islamic State, or ISIS.

In 2013 and 2014, even though ISIS initially did not have a name, as the hardline extremists in Syria became more openly visible, eventually the western media accepted Raqqa and Aleppo had become the de-facto center of Syrian ISIS operations.  In August of 2014 President Obama finally admitted the problem and stated his administration was caught off guard and did not have a strategy to combat them.

Back To The Photograph – The importance of the McCain photograph became increasingly interesting because ISIS as an extremist force became increasingly visible.  As a direct consequence we were able to identify the ideology of the people in the picture:

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/mccain-in-syria-2-detail-2.jpg

There has been some skepticism as to #2 being al-Baghdadi himself, and Senator John McCain has strongly refuted this claim.  However, there is more evidence to prove it is Baghdadi than to refute it’s not Baghdadi.  Person #2 looks just like him:

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/bagdadi.jpg

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/mccain-syria-8-1.jpg

In addition, one of the important bits of evidence to prove #2 is indeed Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is actually found in #1 Abu Mosa (ISIS Press Officer).

There is absolutely no doubt that #1 is the (now dead) Islamic State Press Officer Abu Mosa.

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/abu-mosa-2.png

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/abu-mosa-dead.jpg

Abu Mosa was killed in August 2014.   In 2012, during organization, Baghdadi would have a man with this level of importance to the Islamic State around him at the time this picture was taken.

However, lets look at #5 – “Mouaz Moustafa”, because he is the current person that should be of interest to everyone in the 2016 presidential discussion.  Moustafa is the connective tissue per se’.   In the photograph, he’s also Senator McCain’s intermediary:

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/mccain-in-syria-2-detail.jpg

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/mccain-syria-9-1.jpg

Fast forward two intense years later and look where #5, Mouaz Moustafa shows up in 2014. And more specifically the two faces that show up with him:

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/kinzinger-3-w-mcmullin.jpg

Well lookie there.  During a trip to Turkey in 2014 to discuss arming Syrian rebel groups, under the auspices of fighting ISIS, you see Representative Adam Kinzinger appear.  Oh yeah, and who’s that other fellow circled in the meeting?  ….why that’s our anti-Trump candidate Evan McMullin.

Huh, fancy that.

Spotting Evan McMullin conspicuously standing there in the picture made us want to go back to the CNN file footage from the time and see if he was actually visible in the report they filed from Turkey.  Yup, he’s there alright.

Watch and spot him in the background during quite a bit of the footage:

Long before anyone heard about Evan McMullin running for President, there he is paling around with #NeverTrump Adam Kinzinger in Turkey chatting with the Muslim Brotherhood affiliates (guise SETF) who are essentially the political arm of ISIS under a differing name.

The declared purpose of the meeting was to discuss who and how to arm the entities within Syria.  However, just like in 2012/2013 these same Brotherhood voices in 2014 are simply trying to present themselves as one thing, only to gain the goal of another.  That’s ultimately the story behind the arms deals within The Benghazi Brief.  That’s the lesson that should have been learned if the truth contained within the brief were ever to have larger public interest.

Additionally, all that said – it’s connections like these that make other things, like the opposition to Donald Trump, make much more sense.

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/isis-brotherhood-1-kinzinger-mccain-mcmullin.jpg?w=768&h=232

Things that help make other things make much more sense….

Confirmation: Clinton Shadow Government Brokered Illegal Weapons Deal to Islamic Terror Organizations through State Department to Overthrow Qaddafi

https://i2.wp.com/conservativedailypost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/i29%5Ecimgpsh_orig-2.png

Hillary Worshiping Allah

The media and the government have protected Crooked Hillary for decades, but thanks to patriots like Julian Assange and Judicial Watch, the people are finally seeing the evidence to support our claims that she is a corrupt liar.

Guccifer 1.0 is the original hacker from Russia that started this trend in 2011. After he was caught and arrested for hacking Clinton’s server, he allegedly gave the information to the authorities, but he also gave it to several others hackers, even Julian Assange.

What we uncovered was that the State Department, headed by Hillary Clinton, approved a massive weapons shipment from a California company to Libyans seeking to oust Moammar Qaddafi in 2011 even though a United Nations arms ban was in place.

https://i2.wp.com/conservativedailypost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/clinton-libya.jpg

Her Treason Has Killed Too Many Americans, She Deserves Prison.

These documents were only recovered because they were retrieved from the burned-out compound in Benghazi after Hillary finally sent it reinforcements to help.

The documents indicate that US diplomats in Benghazi were closely monitoring several US-sanctioned shipments to allies, and a plethora of them were headed to the Transitional National Council, the Libyan movement that was seeking to overthrow Qaddafi.

So, we can see a pattern. Hillary approved weapons sales to Libyan Islamic radicals to supply them for their mission to oust Qaddafi, but it backfired as they later attacked our Benghazi compound and killed four Americans with the weapons Hillary supplied them!

https://i0.wp.com/conservativedailypost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Yes-Hillary-Clinton-and-Barack-Obama-Did-Create-The-Rise-of-ISIS-%E2%80%93-It-Is-an-Indisputable-Fact%E2%80%A6-The-Last-Refuge-620x286.png

Leaked Email Showing Hillary Talking About Her Work To Arm Terrorist, And Hoping it Goes Well.

We don’t have the full inventory list, but several State Department officials have indicated that the shipment included hundreds of rocket and grenade launchers, 7,000 machine guns, and 8 million rounds of ammunition.

Dolarian Capital, a member working with U.S. intelligence, confirmed one of its licensing requests to ship weapons via Kuwait to Libya was approved by the State Department in spring 2011 and then randomly denied before they could carry out the transaction.

Thanks to a leaked document from a burn-bag, we can confirm that Hillary Rodham Clinton’s State Department directly approved a weapon sale to place weapons into the hands of Islamic terrorists seeking to oust Gadhafi.

https://i0.wp.com/conservativedailypost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hillary-clinton-benghazi-attack-cover-up-6.jpg

Hillary’s Shadow Government Created, Allowed, And Armed The Terrorists That Killed Americans.

Multiple former CIA officials have stated publicly that Hillary and Obama are lying about supplying terrorists with weapons, and that this was a a covert program that Hillary orchestrated and wants to bury it now. The issue remains highly sensitive because there was a United Nations ban on weapons shipments to Libya at the time.

It was heavily reported in 2011 by Reuters and The New York Times that Obama authorized this covert transaction, but now he has stepped away from it because it has been linked to Benghazi. Obama and Hillary never thought this information would leak back after the terrorist overthrew Qaddafi, but when they used in on the Benghazi attacks, their entire master plan backfired.

On March 17, 2011, the U.N. passed Resolution 1973, which imposed a no-fly zone over Libya and also established a panel of experts to monitor the arms embargo approved by the US. However, on March 27, 2011, Clinton argued that the arms embargo could be disregarded if shipping weapons to rebels would help protect civilians.

Email Waring Hillary Of Possible Backlash On Her Plan, That She Ignored

The weapons list revealed where and when arms were brought to both terror and jihadi groups in Libyan cities including the rebel fortress of Benghazi by the country of Qatar. It did not detail the weapons’ point of origin, but in February 2012 Qatari officials sent a letter to the U.N. “categorically” denying they had “supplied the revolutionaries with arms and ammunition’s.”

Tape recordings obtained and released by The Times earlier this year depicting secret calls between a U.S. intelligence asset and members of the Qaddafi family revealed the then Libyan regime believed NATO was helping Qatar and other countries illegally smuggle arms across their country’s borders to aide rebel forces in an attempt to destabilize Libya.

Hillary Clinton endorsed the idea of using arms merchants to help the Libyans one month before they supplied them the arms deal. The State Department used Dolarian Capital because they have worked with U.S. intelligence over the years to move covert shipments into hot spots around the globe such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Nigeria.

https://i2.wp.com/conservativedailypost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/hillary-emails-e1446496334606-1.jpg

They Were Armed In March, Hillary Was Emailed That December That They Were Uprising, But Hillary Avoided That To Talk About Wall Lamps

Hillary approved ONE shipment to Libya because she wanted to be discreet. After all, she is a career criminal with years of experience skirting the law. She knew what she was doing, she just didn’t want to get caught. Dolarian Capital had a legal license with the State Department, so this wasn’t an issue of Hillary illegally supplying weapons to them.

This is an issue of judgement. Hillary Clinton supplied massive quantities of powerful arms to a small terrorist group so that they could overthrow Qaddafi. After they accomplished their mission in 2011, they obtained more weapons and formed a terrorist group in Libya with al-Shabaab.

Now, after they used these weapons to attack our consulate in Benghazi, they pledged allegiance to ISIS in 2014 and operate a hub for them in Libya. Since Obama and Hillary overthrew Qaddafi and his government, there hasn’t been anyone to run the country except ISIS. ISIS runs that country and they are still using the arms Hillary and Obama supplied them.

hillary benghazi evil

Hillary lied to the faces of the Benghazi families and she is still lying to the American people to this day. How can she challenge trump’s judgement when she armed terrorists that then turned around and not only killed four Americans with those weapons, they are now a major affiliate of ISIS and run the country of Libya?

https://reclaimourrepublic.files.wordpress.com/2016/06/hillary-truth.gif?w=640

It is Hillary that has committed treason and deserves to be fitted for a bright orange jumpsuit. We cannot allow anymore bad deals like this to ever happen again. We must all unite as patriots and say enough is enough. We cannot elect this woman to destroy this country any more than she already has.

McCARRAN-WALTER ACT OF 1952

Here’s an interesting historical fact that would seem to indicate that many, if not most, of the people we elect to go to Washington don’t have the slightest idea of what laws already exist.

https://centinel2012.files.wordpress.com/2016/07/jihad-june-2016.jpg?w=720&quality=80&strip=info

I did not know of this until now.  It’s been law for over 60 years….

Isn’t this interesting!

The Bottom line is interesting.

Interesting Bit of Legislative History – MacCarran Walter Act of 1952

Trump was recently severely criticized for suggesting that the U.S. should limit or temporarily suspend the immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities, and even people of certain religions (Muslims).

The criminal political class and their progressive boot lickers condemned such a suggestion as, among other things, being Un-American, dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, and racist.

Congressmen and Senators swore that they would never allow such legislation, and the president called such a prohibition on immigration unconstitutional.

As Gomer Pyle would say, Surprise, Surprise, Surprise !!!

It seems that the selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on several occasions. Known as the McCarran-Walter Act, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 allows for the “Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by the president”.

Whenever the president finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

https://disturbeddeputy.files.wordpress.com/2016/05/knock-knock.jpg?w=446&h=584

The act was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more.  He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a bunch.  Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States in 1979. (And they say it cant be done?)

It is of note that the act requires that an applicant for immigration must be of good moral character and “attached to the principles of the Constitution”.

Since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, technically, all Muslims should be refused immigration.

Iraqi Forces Declared Fallujah Fully Liberated on Sunday, July 3rd

Burned out human cages, schools packed with explosives and hate propaganda for children: What ISIS left behind when Iraqi forces drove them from Fallujah

  • Iraqi forces seized Fallujah from Islamic State militants this week but the extremists left behind reminders of their reign
  • Dozens of buildings were booby-trapped with explosives and terror group had left behind weapons and propaganda
  • Stark images show ISIS had created their own ‘prisons’ and even a court – forces also found burned out human cages

By Keiligh Baker |  MailOnline | 01:15, 3 July 2016

The Islamic State flag flying over Iraq’s Fallujah is in tatters and its fighters are all dead or gone leaving behind a broken city of bomb-rigged schools, burned out human cages and empty streets.

Only scattered signs of ISIS’s self-declared ‘caliphate’ remain in Fallujah, a city west of Baghdad which was seized by anti-government fighters in early 2014 and later became a key jihadist stronghold.

Iraqi forces declared Fallujah fully liberated on Sunday, after government troops routed the remaining ISIS fighters from the city’s north and west under the close cover of US-led coalition airstrikes.

The battle, which began May 22, was the latest in a string of territorial defeats for ISIS in Iraq over the past year.

Fallujah’s broad streets are now empty except for members of the security forces, some relaxing or firing their guns in the air to celebrate their victory, while others search for bombs that are one of ISIS’s legacies in the city.

Police detonated a massive cache of explosives in a house in central Fallujah, sending a towering cloud of dust rising over the city and spraying debris across the neighborhood.

The house had ‘five tonnes of ammonium nitrate’ inside and was rigged to detonate if someone tampered with the explosives, said Colonel Nabil Radhi of the federal police. Security personnel walked down another empty street, searching for bombs in buildings so they could be dealt with later.

Most of ISIS’s black flags have been removed, but the torn remains of one still flutters from a street light.

ISIS flags are also painted on support pillars and murals under an overpass in Fallujah, but they have been daubed with red paint, and graffiti with the names of Iraq’s elite counter-terrorism service and a militia umbrella group makes the city’s change of ownership clear.

Iraqi forces discovered multiple ISIS ‘prisons’ and at least one court in the city.

A prison located inside one house, which had heavy metal gates blocking off rooms inside, was set on fire by the jihadists, said Second Lieutenant Hussein Shaker of the interior ministry’s rapid response forces.

Security personnel held in the prison were burned alive while IS fighters fled, Shaker said.

Another house – this one said to have been burned by Iraqi forces – contained seven metal cages made for humans – some of them not even large enough to stand in.

The only ISIS fighters still in Fallujah are dead, some of them decomposing in the searing summer heat amid rubble at the site of an apparent air strike.

Bodies of dead fighters also lay in the courtyard of what was once a school, while more were said to be buried below.

But other jihadists managed to flee the city, with some fighters shaving their long beards to aid their escape.

‘We found a mountain of their beards’ in one house, Shaker said.

Small makeshift boats constructed from corrugated metal with low wood transoms were left at the same school where the bodies were located, apparently intended for crossing the Euphrates River to safety.

Anti-government forces seized Fallujah in 2014 amid widespread anger among its Sunni Arab residents, who felt marginalized and targeted by the Shiite-led government in Baghdad.

But instead of a better life, residents suffered over two years of ISIS rule that led to siege, privation and fighting that forced them to flee and ultimately put the city in the hands of some of the very forces they feared.

After declaring Fallujah IS-free, coalition and Iraqi planes attacked a series of convoys of suspected ISIS fighters and their families outside the city. Two convoys were hit by Iraqi and coalition airstrikes, and a third convoy, outside Ramadi, the provincial capital, was also targeted.

Pope Francis Likens Jesus to ISIS, Says Muslims Must Breed With Europeans

Francis claims ISIS similar to Jesus sending his disciples to all nations

Pope Francis Likens Jesus to ISIS, Says Muslims Must Breed With Europeans

In a shocking interview, Pope Francis likened Jesus Christ to ISIS and said Muslim migrants must breed with Europeans to counter “declining birth rates.”“Today, I don’t think that there is a fear of Islam as such but of ISIS and its war of conquest, which is partly drawn from Islam,” he told French newspaper La Croix. “It is true that the idea of conquest is inherent in the soul of Islam, however, it is also possible to interpret the objective in Matthew’s Gospel, where Jesus sends his disciples to all nations, in terms of the same idea of conquest.”The Pope also said he “dreaded” hearing about the “Christian roots of Europe” because, to him, they take on “colonialist overtones” and he called on European nations to “integrate” Muslim migrants into the continent.

“This integration is all the more necessary today since, as a result of a selfish search for well-being, Europe is experiencing the grave problem of a declining birth rate,” he stated. “A demographic emptiness is developing.”

His opinions are stunningly similar to those of top Iman Sheikh Muhammad Ayed, who said Muslims should exploit the migrant crisis to breed with Europeans and “conquer their countries.”

“Europe has become old and decrepit and needs human reinforcement… they are not motivated by compassion for the Levant, its people and its refugees… soon, we will trample them underfoot, Allah willing,” he stated. “Throughout Europe, all the hearts are enthused with hatred toward Muslims. They wish that we were dead, but they have lost their fertility, so they look for fertility in our midst.”

“We will give them fertility! We will breed children with them, because we shall conquer their countries!”

Pope Francis also promoted socialism during the interview.

“A completely free market does not work,” he claimed. “Markets in themselves are good but they also require a fulcrum, a third party, or a state to monitor and balance them.”

“In other words, [what is needed is] a social market economy.”

It’s been estimated that in the 20th century alone, socialism and communism resulted in the deaths of at least 130 million people.

https://i2.wp.com/media.breitbart.com/media/2016/04/obama-king-salman-saudi-arabia-ap-640x480.jpg?zoom=2

After three decades of internecine war, Abdul-Aziz bin Saud, allied with the fundamentalist Wahhabist Islamic sect, consolidated the House of Saud’s dominance over Arabia in 1932 with the tacit support of regional imperial power Great Britain. The bedrock of the Saudi Arabian economy, the massive pool of oil in the Al-Hasa region along the Persian Gulf coast, was discovered in 1938 and development began in 1941. Towards the end of World War II, President Roosevelt and Abdul-Aziz reached a handshake deal that has governed relations between the two nations ever since: Saudi Arabia would guarantee the flow of oil to the US at a reasonable price; the US would protect the Saud regime.

Like so many born into wealth, the House of Saud has mistaken fortuitous circumstances for divine favor, haughtily condescending to a world that goes along with its pretensions because of its oil. Saudi Arabia is dependent for its security and armaments on the west, particularly the US. No particular skill is necessary to extract (its reserves are among the world’s shallowest and easiest to tap), transport, or export its oil. It exports most of its oil because it has little industry, although its riches have made it a financial center and funded one of the world’s most generous welfare states. Much of the actual labor is performed by immigrants. The partial diversion of oil revenues has kept the non-House of Saud population pacified.

Oil has made the House of Saud one of the wealthiest extended clans in the world. It retains this privileged position by virtue of US military and intelligence support and its relationship with the Wahhabist clerics. Essentially, the clerics give their unwavering support to the regime, and the regime faithfully executes Sharia law (and those who violate it) in accordance with the dictates of the clerics.

It is an unfortunate tendency of the silver-spoon set not to confine itself to philanthropy, collecting art and fast cars, and other harmless pursuits. They seem compelled to tell the rest of us how to live and think. The Wahhabists make the do-gooders plaguing America look benign. It may be true that some sects of Islam are peaceful and only want to live and let live, but not the Wahhabists, it’s their brand of Sunni Islam or nothing. Everyone else is an infidel, to be converted or beheaded. So rather than just building big palaces in the desert, praying five times a day, and shopping in Paris, London, New York, and Beverly Hills, Saudi silver-spooners export their Puritanical Islam and expect obsequence from the rest of the world.

The US government promised Saudi Arabia that it would remove the military bases it erected there during Gulf War I after Saddam Hussein had been vanquished from Kuwait. It did not do so. Fighting the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, Osama bid Laden, a native of Saudi Arabia from a wealthy and well-connected family, had been happy enough to accept aid from the US. His anger at the bases and the broken promise reportedly sparked the 9/11 attacks.

Fifteen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers were Saudi Arabians. Twenty-eight classified pages of a 2002 Congressional 9/11 investigation may well show that they received assistance from members of the Saudi Arabian government and royal family. Family members of 9/11 victims have long pressed for their release, although it will not, because of the sovereign immunity doctrine, help them in their efforts to sue the Saudi government. Senate Bill 2040 would declassify the 28 pages and suspend sovereign immunity for any government found complicit in a terrorist attack that kills Americans on US soil.

The Saudis have cranked up their greasy US lobbying apparatus to stop the bill, and have threatened to dump $750 billion in US debt if it becomes law. The 28 pages should be released because it will add to what we know about 9/11, but there is no chance Senate Bill 2040 will become law. President Obama has pledged to veto the legislation if it passes, and went to Saudi Arabia last week to “reassure” its leaders. Even if it didn’t upset the apple cart of the US-Saudi Arabian alliance, it would open the door to other nations and multinational bodies suspending the US’s sovereign immunity for say, drone strikes and indiscriminate bombings that have killed innocent people, arguably terrorist acts.

Unfortunately, the 9/11 imbroglio will probably not be the catalyst for a rupture in the alliance. Further exposure of Saudi duplicity would underscore an argument SLL has repeatedly made: the Saudis play a double game with the US. They have funded al Qaeda and its offshoots, notably ISIS, and have underwritten the world-wide export of Wahhabism and its doctrines of jihad and Islamic domination. The US friendship with the Saudi regime undercuts its claim of moral exceptionalism; the regime is among the world’s most repressive. Its Sharia law outlaws homosexuality and makes women chattels. Civil liberties are nonexistent, and lashings or beheadings await those who dare to speak out against the regime.

The proper US response to the Saudi’s threat would have been the middle finger. Ever-happy-to-monetize central banks and the world’s capital markets can handle a $750 billion sale of US debt. There would be a price concession as markets soaked the Saudis, but after the sale prices would rally and there would be no permanent damage. That the US would allow itself to be threatened illustrates what happens when a confederated empire rests on borrowed money. How long can an empire last that succumbs to its creditors’ threats? (China has a lot more US government debt than Saudi Arabia.)

Mostly what the US response illustrates is what happens when you have a government run by eunuchs. A bipartisan, bought-and-paid-for coalition of chicken hawks sends in bombers, drones, special forces, and the NSA to wage lucrative, costly, bloody, doomed-to-fail, civil-liberties-destroying wars against terrorist “threats,” but sucks up to an empty-robe regime that has indoctrinated, funded, and armed al Qaeda and ISIS. What would the Saudis do with their oil if the world’s largest oil consumer bought elsewhere, especially as the low oil price bleeds Saudi Arabia’s foreign currency reserves? What would their military—which can’t take out fourth-rate Yemen—do if the world’s number one arms supplier refused to sell to it? What would their corrupt and tyrannical alliance of mosque and state do if the US denounced the corruption and tyranny? What leverage would the Saudi’s have after they sold their $750 billion in debt?

UPDATE: The attacker was let out on bail because the judge says he didn’t know his background (see below)

Conservative Treehouse  A Donald Trump rally took a dramatic turn Saturday when a thug Named Tom Dimassimo  tried to rush the state behind the GOP front runner.  Secret Service agents tackled Dimassimo and simultaneously formed a wall around Donald Trump:

A student of Wright University in Dayton Ohio, Tom Dimassimo is a progressive leftist thug who has participated in various protests including flag burning.

By his own admissions DiMassimo is self-identified as an activist with Black Lives Matter, and various left-wing social justice groups.  In addition he’s a Bernie Sanders supporter.

ariot66However, shocking new video has now surfaced of Tommy DiMassimo also participating in ISIS propaganda videos, and possibly being a part of their anti-U.S. agenda.  This video was uploaded in May 2015.  You can see DiMassimo is the principal subject within the video which begins with him dragging a flag and talking to the camera operator:

FBI Frames Mentally Ill Ex-Con in New Year’s Eve ISIS Attack

FBI bought masks, zip-ties, knives, duct tape, ammonia and latex gloves for Lutchman

NBC News reported on Thursday Emanuel Lutchman was in contact with a member of the Islamic State in Syria who urged him to attack diners at a restaurant in Rochester, New York, with a machete.

It turns out Lutchman was instead in contact with an FBI informant who received thousands of dollars from the agency.

He didn’t have money to buy masks, zip-ties, knives, duct tape, ammonia and latex gloves that were allegedly supposed to be used in the attack, so the FBI picked up the tab, according to NBC.

He reportedly tried to impress his government handlers by talking about pressure cooker bombs and knives.

Mentally ill FBI terrorist patsy Emanuel Lutchman

“New years [sic] is here soon. Do operations and kill some kuffar,” the informant told Lutchman, an ex-con with mental problems who had recently attempted suicide.

Beverley Carridice, Lutchman’s grandmother, said he had suffered from psychiatric problems since childhood and was not taking his psychiatric medications when she saw him in August.

Carridice said Lutchman would not have planned an attack on his own. “Not on his own,” she said. “He’s not the type of person. But he’s easily persuaded,” she told NBC.

Lutchman was arrested on Wednesday after he recorded a video tape pledging allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, said to be the leader of the Islamic State. He will be charged with providing material support to a terrorist organization and faces up to 20 years in prison, according to the Justice Department.

“According to the complaint, as part of Emanuel Lutchman’s attempt to provide material support to ISIL, he planned to kill innocent civilians on New Year’s Eve in the name of the terrorist organization.” said Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Carlin said in a statement. “Thankfully, law enforcement was able to intervene and thwart Lutchman’s deadly plans.”

“The arrest of Emanuel Lutchman is an important reminder of the new normal of global terrorism,” said New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The “new normal” is the FBI setting up mentally ill patsies and then announcing it has prevented terror attacks.

The FBI has arranged a large number of terrorism “stings” since the attacks of September 11, 2001, in order to make the case that it is tracking down and prosecuting terrorists.

A report by Mother Jones and the Investigative Reporting Program at the University of California-Berkley released in 2011 revealed that it is now common practice for the FBI to create terror plots from scratch and entrap witless and even mentally ill patsies.

“The report reveals that the FBI regularly infiltrates communities where they suspect terrorist-minded individuals to be engaging with others. Regardless of their intentions, agents are sent in to converse within the community, find suspects that could potentially carry out ‘lone wolf’ attacks and then, more or less, encourage them to do so. By providing weaponry, funds and a plan, FBI-directed agents will encourage otherwise-unwilling participants to plot out terrorist attacks, only to bust them before any events fully materialize,” RT reported last August.

A Brief Overview Of USA.gov False Flags

US Military Gave Intel to Assad, While CIA Funded & Armed ISIS

Joint-Chiefs-of-Staff-Official---US-Military-Provided-Intel-to-Assad,-While-CIA-Funded-and-Armed-ISIS

Washington, DC – The Pentagon’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) have been indirectly providing intelligence on the Islamic State to the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad, in direct contrast to the Obama administration’s agenda of regime change, in an effort to stop Syria from becoming another failed state from which terrorists can operate.

A recent investigation by renowned journalist Seymour Hersh provides clear evidence of a massive disconnect between President Obama’s White House and the U.S. military regarding the handling of the Syrian situation.

The awkward situation stems from the Obama administration’s insistence that there are “moderate rebel” groups to arm that are capable of defeating Assad, and the subsequent decision to provide weapons to these jihadist groups through a covert CIA program.

In spite of the “Assad must go” pledge made by President Obama and covert CIA program, the U.S. JCS instead opted to feed intelligence on the Islamic State to the Syrian government through a number of intermediary governments, the unidentified former senior advisor to the JCS told Hersh.

“Our policy of arming the opposition to Assad was unsuccessful and actually having a negative impact,” the former JCS adviser told Hersh.

“The Joint Chiefs believed that Assad should not be replaced by fundamentalists. The administration’s policy was contradictory. They wanted Assad to go but the opposition was dominated by extremists. So who was going to replace him? To say Assad’s got to go is fine, but if you follow that through – therefore anyone is better. It’s the “anybody else is better” issue that the JCS had with Obama’s policy,” the unnamed JCS advisor said.

According to a report by Hersh, published in The London Review of Books:

The Joint Chiefs felt that a direct challenge to Obama’s policy would have ‘had a zero chance of success’. So in the autumn of 2013 they decided to take steps against the extremists without going through political channels, by providing US intelligence to the militaries of other nations, on the understanding that it would be passed on to the Syrian army and used against the common enemy, Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic State.

The impetus behind the military’s action was a highly classified Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) report, which made clear that if Assad were to be deposed, Syria would fall into chaos and provide an easy target for Islamic extremists to gain a strong foothold similar to Libya.

According to the report by Hersh:

A former senior adviser to the Joint Chiefs told me that the document was an ‘all-source’ appraisal, drawing on information from signals, satellite and human intelligence, and took a dim view of the Obama administration’s insistence on continuing to finance and arm the so-called moderate rebel groups. By then, the CIA had been conspiring for more than a year with allies in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Qatar to ship guns and goods – to be used for the overthrow of Assad – from Libya, via Turkey, into Syria. The new intelligence estimate singled out Turkey as a major impediment to Obama’s Syria policy. The document showed, the adviser said, ‘that what was started as a covert US programme to arm and support the moderate rebels fighting Assad had been co-opted by Turkey, and had morphed into an across-the-board technical, arms and logistical programme for all of the opposition, including Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic State. The so-called moderates had evaporated and the Free Syrian Army was a rump group stationed at an airbase in Turkey.’ The assessment was bleak: there was no viable ‘moderate’ opposition to Assad, and the US was arming extremists.

Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, director of the DIA between 2012 and 2014, confirmed that his agency had sent a constant stream of classified warnings to the civilian leadership about the dire consequences of toppling Assad. The jihadists, he said, were in control of the opposition. Turkey wasn’t doing enough to stop the smuggling of foreign fighters and weapons across the border. ‘If the American public saw the intelligence we were producing daily, at the most sensitive level, they would go ballistic,’ Flynn told me. ‘We understood Isis’s long-term strategy and its campaign plans, and we also discussed the fact that Turkey was looking the other way when it came to the growth of the Islamic State inside Syria.’ The DIA’s reporting, he said, ‘got enormous push back’ from the Obama administration. ‘I felt that they did not want to hear the truth.’

The reality created by the CIA program to arm the “moderate rebels” is harrowing, as arms were handed to virtually any group opposing Assad’s military, including terrorist organizations such as Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic State.

In stark contrast to the White House and CIA, the U.S. military’s assessment was extremely realistic: moderate opposition to Assad is a complete myth and the U.S. was arming the same Islamic extremists it had just got done fighting in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Obama ‘a total pu–y,’ Fox News commentator says after Oval Office address on terrorism

“Look, Mr. President, we’re not afraid, we’re angry, we’re pissed off, we’re furious!” Peters said Monday morning. “We want you to react, we want you to do something! You’re afraid. I mean, this guy is such a total pussy, it’s stunning.”

Critics say Obama’s strategy, as articulated on Sunday, falls short if it does not include Russia in the global coalition fighting IS.

ISIS Oil Trade And The Israel Connection

“Effectively, we have been financially discriminated against for a long time. By early 2014, when we did not receive the budget, we decided we need to start thinking about independent oil sales” —  Ashti Hawrami, Kurdistan’s minister for natural resources

In June of 2014, the SCF Altai (an oil tanker) arrived at Ashkelon port. Hours later, the first shipment of Kurdish pipeline oil was being unloaded in Israel. “Securing the first sale of oil from its independent pipeline is crucial for the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) as it seeks greater financial independence from war-torn Iraq,” Reuters noted at the time, adding that “the new export route to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, designed to bypass Baghdad’s federal pipeline system, has created a bitter dispute over oil sale rights between the central government and the Kurds.”

A week earlier, the SCF Altai received the Kurdish oil in a ship-to-ship transfer from the The United Emblem off the coast of Malta. The United Emblem loaded the crude at Ceyhan where a pipeline connects the Turkish port to Kurdistan.

The Kurds’ move to sell crude independent of Baghdad stems from a long-running budget dispute. Without delving too far into the details, Erbil is entitled to 17% of Iraqi oil revenue and in return, the KRG is supposed to transfer some 550,000 bpd to SOMO (Iraq’s state-run oil company). Almost immediately after the deal was struck late last year, Baghdad claimed the Kurds weren’t keeping up their end of the bargain and so, only a fraction of the allocated budget was sent to Erbil during the first five months of the year.

This was simply a continuation of a protracted disagreement between Erbil and Baghdad over how much of the state’s crude revenue should flow to the KRG. For its part, Iraq has threatened to sue anyone that buys independently produced Kurdish oil. For instance, when The United Kalavrvta – which left Ceyhan last June – prepared to dock in Galveston, Texas a month later, a SOMO official told Reuters that Iraq’s foreign legal team was “watching closely the movement of the vessel and [was] ready to target any potential buyer regardless of their nationality.”

You get the idea. Erbil wants a bigger piece of the pie, Baghdad doesn’t want to give it to them, and so some time ago, the KRG decided to simply cut the Iraqi government out and export crude on its own. The dispute is ongoing.

(at an Erbil oil refinery, the Kurds stand guard)

Ok, so why are we telling you this? Recall that over the past several weeks, we’ve spent quite a bit of time documenting Islamic State’s lucrative black market oil trade. Earlier this month, Vladimir Putin detailed the scope of the operation in meetings with his G20 colleagues. “I’ve shown photos taken from space and from aircraft which clearly demonstrate the scale of the illegal trade in oil and petroleum products,” he told journalists on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Antalya. The very same day, the US destroyed some 116 ISIS oil trucks, an effort that was widely publicized in the Western media. In the two weeks since, Moscow and Washington have vaporized a combined 1,300 ISIS oil transport vehicles.

No one knows why it took the US 14 months to strike the convoys. The official line is that The Pentagon was concerned about “collateral damage”, but  we doubt that’s the reason (for a detailed discussion of this, see here). Well now that the mainstream media have been forced to take a closer look at Islamic State’s main source of revenue (the group makes nearly a half billion a year in the illicit oil trade), we decided to take a closer look at exactly who is facilitating the transport of the stolen crude and where it ultimately ends up because you can be sure that the story you get from the major wires will be colored by a slavish tendency to avoid any and all “inconvenient” revelations. This is the fourth in a series of articles on the subject and we encourage you to review the first three:

On Friday we highlighted an academic study by George Kiourktsoglou and Dr Alec D Coutroubis who took a look at tanker rates at Ceyhan around significant oil-related events involving ISIS. Here’s what the researchers found:

In their words, “it seems that whenever the Islamic State is fighting in the vicinity of an area hosting oil assets, the 13 exports from Ceyhan promptly spike. This may be attributed to an extra boost given to crude oil smuggling with the aim of immediately generating additional funds, badly needed for the supply of ammunition and military equipment.”

Now you can begin to see the connection. Ceyhan is the port from which Kurdish oil (technically “illegal” to let Baghdad tell it) is transported, and as Kiourktsoglou and Coutroubis note, “the quantities of crude oil that are being exported to the terminal in Ceyhan exceed the mark of one million barrels per day and given that ISIS has never been able to trade daily more than 45,000 barrels of oil, it becomes evident that the detection of similar quantities of smuggled crude cannot take place through stock-accounting methods.” In other words, if ISIS oil was being shipped from Ceyhan, it would essentially be invisible.

Here’s where things get interesting. A few weeks ago, Reuters released an exclusive report detailing how Erbil hides its crude shipments from Baghdad. Here are some of the details:

Most customers were scared of touching it with Baghdad threatening to sue any buyer. Large oil companies – including Exxon Mobil and BP – have billions of dollars worth of joint projects with Baghdad.

Some buyers took tankers to Ashkelon, Israel, where it was loaded into storage facilities to be resold later to buyers in Europe. Kurdish oil was also sold offshore Malta via ship-to-ship transfers helping disguise the final buyers and thus protect them from threats from Iraqi state firm SOMO.

It was a high stakes game. A ship would dock off Malta waiting for another to arrive to take a cargo to a final destination. Sometimes two ships would be sent – one sailing off empty and another full – to complicate cargo tracking.

“Everyone suddenly became a ship tracking expert. So we had to raise our game too … But one thing was proven correct – when oil is out, it flows,” said Hawrami.

Ok, so a scheme involving ship-to-ship transfers off the coast of Malta was used to get Kurdish crude to places like Israel. “Israeli refineries and oil companies imported more than 19m barrels of Kurdish oil between the beginning of May and August 11, according to shipping data, trading sources and satellite tanker tracking,” FT reported last week. “That is the equivalent of about 77 per cent of average Israeli demand, which runs at roughly 240,000 barrels per day. More than a third of all of the northern Iraqi exports, which are shipped from Turkey’s Mediterranean port of Ceyhan, went to Israel over the period.”

At this juncture, we begin to get an idea of what’s going on here. Kurdish oil is already technically illegal and Turkey is happy to facilitate its trip to foreign buyers via Ceyhan. What better way for ISIS to get its own oil to market than by moving it through a port that already deals in suspect crude? Al-Araby al-Jadeed (a London-based media outlet owned by the Qatari Fadaat Media) claims to have obtained a wealth of information about the route to Ceyhan from an unnamed colonel in the Iraqi Intelligence Services. Here’s their account

The information was verified by Kurdish security officials, employees at the Ibrahim Khalil border crossing between Turkey and Iraqi Kurdistan, and an official at one of three oil companies that deal in IS-smuggled oil.

The Iraqi colonel, who along with US investigators is working on a way to stop terrorist finance streams, told al-Araby about the stages that the smuggled oil goes through from the points of extraction in Iraqi oil fields to its destination – notably including the port of Ashdod, Israel.

“After the oil is extracted and loaded, the oil tankers leave Nineveh province and head north to the city of Zakho, 88km north of Mosul,” the colonel said. Zakho is a Kurdish city in Iraqi Kurdistan, right on the border with Turkey.

“After IS oil lorries arrive in Zakho – normally 70 to 100 of them at a time – they are met by oil smuggling mafias, a mix of Syrian and Iraqi Kurds, in addition to some Turks and Iranians,” the colonel continued.

“The person in charge of the oil shipment sells the oil to the highest bidder,” the colonel added. Competition between organised gangs has reached fever pitch, and the assassination of mafia leaders has become commonplace.

The highest bidder pays between 10 and 25 percent of the oil’s value in cash – US dollars – and the remainder is paid later, according to the colonel.

The drivers hand over their vehicles to other drivers who carry permits and papers to cross the border into Turkey with the shipment, the Iraqi intelligence officer said. The original drivers are given empty lorries to drive back to IS-controlled areas.

Once in Turkey, the lorries continue to the town of Silopi, where the oil is delivered to a person who goes by the aliases of Dr Farid, Hajji Farid and Uncle Farid.

Uncle Farid is an Israeli-Greek dual national in his fifties. He is usually accompanied by two strong-built men in a black Jeep Cherokee.

Once inside Turkey, IS oil is indistinguishable from oil sold by the Kurdistan Regional Government, as both are sold as “illegal”, “source unknown” or “unlicensed” oil.

The companies that buy the KRG oil also buy IS-smuggled oil, according to the colonel.

Now obviously that’s a remarkable degree of detail, but regardless of whether you believe in “Uncle Farid” and his black Jeep Cherokee, the main point is that there are smuggling routes into Turkey and once the oil is across the border, it might as well be Kurdish crude because after all, it’s all “illegal”, “unlicensed” product anyway, just as we said above.

Next, Al-Araby al-Jadeed says a handful of oil companies (which they decline to identify) ship the oil from the Turkish ports of Mersin, Dortyol and Ceyhan to Israel.

Here’s the alleged route:

While the graphic shows the crude going directly from Ceyhan to Ashdod, it’s worth asking whether ISIS crude is also “laundered” (as it were) through the same Malta connection utilized by those smuggling “illegal” Kurdish crude (which also ends up in Israel). We ask that because as it turns out, Bilal Erdogan owns a Maltese shipping company. “The BMZ Group, a company owned by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s son Bilal alongside other family members, has purchased two tankers in the last two months at a total cost of $36 million,” Today’s Zaman reported in September. “The tankers, which will be registered to the Oil Transportation & Shipping company in October — an affiliate of the BMZ Group set up in Malta — were previously rented to the Palmali Denizcilik company for 10 years.”

Here’s a look at recent port data from Ceyhan and Ashdod via Fleetmon.com (Malta-flagged oil vessels are highlighted).

Ceyhan

Ashdod

To be sure, all of this is circumstantial and there’s all kinds of ambiguity here, but it seems entirely possible that Erdogan is knowingly trafficking in ISIS crude given what we know about Ankara’s dealings with illegal Kurdish oil. Consider this from al-Monitor

Details of the energy deals struck between Turkey and the KRG remain sketchy amid claims that Erdogan and his close circle are financially benefiting from them. According to Tolga Tanis, the Washington correspondent for the mass circulation daily Hurriyet who investigated the claims, Powertrans, the company that was granted an exclusive license to carry and trade Kurdish oil by Erdogan’s Cabinet in 2011, is run by his son-in-law Berat Albayrak. It didn’t take long for the notoriously litigious Erdogan to file defamation charges against Tanis.

Several Iraqi Kurdish officials who refused to be identified by name confirmed that Ahmet Calik, a businessman with close ties to Erdogan, had been granted the tender to carry Kurdish oil via overland by trucks to Turkey.

In other words, Erdogan is already moving illicit crude from the KRG (with whom Ankara is friendly by the way, despite the fact that they are Kurds) via a son-in-law and in large quantities. What’s to say he isn’t moving ISIS crude via the same networks through his son Bilal? Or perhaps through his other son Burak who Today’s Zaman reminds us “also owns a fleet of ships [and] was featured in a report by the Sözcü daily in 2014 [when his] vessel Safran 1 was anchored in Israel’s port of Ashdod.” Here’s a picture circulated on social media that purports to show Bilal Erdogan with ISIS commanders (because we do try at all times to be unbiased, we should also note that the men shown below could just be three regular guys with beards with no connection to any black flag-waving desert bandits):

Russian media claims the men are “ISIS leaders who it is [thought] participated in massacres in Syria’s Homs and Rojava, the Kurdish name for Syrian Kurdistan or Western Kurdistan.”

One person who definitely thinks the Erdogans are trafficking in ISIS oil is Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi who said the following on Friday:

“All of the oil was delivered to a company that belongs to the son of Recep [Tayyip] Erdogan. This is why Turkey became anxious when Russia began delivering airstrikes against the IS infrastructure and destroyed more than 500 trucks with oil already. This really got on Erdogan and his company’s nerves. They’re importing not only oil, but wheat and historic artefacts as well.”

And then there’s Iraq’s former National Security Adviser Mowaffak al-Rubaie who posted the following to his Facebook page on Saturday:

“First and foremost, the Turks help the militants sell stolen Iraqi and Syrian oil for $20 a barrel, which is half the market price.”

Meanwhile, the US is preparing for an all-out ISIS oil propaganda war. As WSJ reported on Wednesday, “the Treasury [has] accused a Syrian-born businessman, George Haswani, who his a dual Syrian-Russian citizen, of using his firm, HESCO Engineering and Construction Co., for facilitating oil trades between the Assad regime and Islamic State.” Why Assad would buy oil from a group that uses the cash at its disposal to wage war against Damascus is an open question especially when one considers that Assad’s closest allies (Russia and Iran) are major oil producers. Of course between all the shady middlemen and double dealing, there’s really no telling.

Ultimately we’ll probably never know the whole story, but what we do know (and again, most of the evidence is either circumstantial, anecdotal, of largely qualitative) seems to suggest that in addition to providing guns and money to the FSA and al-Nusra, Turkey may well be responsible for facilitating Islamic State’s $400+ million per year oil enterprise. And as for end customers, consider the following bit from Al-Araby al-Jadeed:

According to a European official at an international oil company who met with al-Araby in a Gulf capital, Israel refines the oil only “once or twice” because it does not have advanced refineries. It exports the oil to Mediterranean countries – where the oil “gains a semi-legitimate status” – for $30 to $35 a barrel.

“The oil is sold within a day or two to a number of private companies, while the majority goes to an Italian refinery owned by one of the largest shareholders in an Italian football club [name removed] where the oil is refined and used locally,” added the European oil official.

“Israel has in one way or another become the main marketer of IS oil. Without them, most IS-produced oil would have remained going between Iraq, Syria and Turkey. Even the three companies would not receive the oil if they did not have a buyer in Israel,” said the industry official.

Finally, you’ll note that this is all an effort to answer what we called “the most important question about ISIS that no one is asking” – namely, “who are the middlemen?” As we noted more than a week ago, “we do know who they may be: the same names that were quite prominent in the market in September when Glencore had its first, and certainly not last, near death experience: the Glencores, the Vitols, the Trafiguras, the Nobels, the Mercurias of the world.” Consider that, and consider what Reuters says about the trade in illicit KRG oil: Market sources have said several trading houses including Trafigura and Vitol have dealt with Kurdish oil. Both Trafigura and Vitol declined to comment on their role in oil sales.”

Similarly, FT notes that “both Vitol and Trafigura had paid the KRG in advance for the oil, under so-called ‘pre-pay’ deals, helping Erbil to bridge its budget gaps.”

Indeed, when Kurdistan went looking for an advisor to assist in the effort to circumvent Baghdad, the KRG chose “Murtaza Lakhani, who worked for Glencore in Iraq in the 2000s, to assist finding ships.”

“He knew exactly who would and who wouldn’t deal with us. He opened the doors to us and identified willing shipping companies to work with us,” Ashti Hawrami (quoted above) said.

Indeed. And given everything said above about the commingling of illegal KRG crude and illicit ISIS oil shipments, it’s probably a foregone conclusion that these same firms are assisting in transport arrangements for Islamic State.

The Most Important Question About ISIS That Nobody Is Asking

The question of how the Islamic State funds its sprawling caliphate has been discussed in the past: we first broke down the primary driver of ISIS revenue well over a year ago, in September 2014, when we explained that “ISIS uses oil wealth to help finance its terror operations.”

Daily Signal’s Kelsey Harkness explained the breakdown as follows:

According to the Iraq Energy Institute, an independent, nonprofit policy organization focused on Iraq’s energy sector, the army of radical Islamist controls production of 30,000 barrels of oil a day in Iraq and 50,000 barrels in Syria. By selling the oil on the black market at a discounted price of $40 per barrel (compared to about $93 per barrel in the free market), ISIS takes in $3.2 million a day.

The oil revenue, which amounts to nearly $100 million each month, allows ISIS to fund its military and terrorist attacks — and to attract more recruits from around the world, including America.

Most importantly, we added that to be successful in counter terrorism efforts, “the U.S. and its allies must “push the Islamic State out of the oil fields it has captured and disrupt its ability to smuggle the oil to foreign markets.”

None of this was surprising to anyone, but what was quite surprising is that it took the allied forces over a year to take the oil revenue threat seriously and begin targeting the Islamic State’s oil infrastructure in earnest.

Today, in an article titled “Why US Efforts to Cut Off Islamic State’s Funds Have Failed” Bloomberg tries to explain just how it is that despite a more than a year long campaign, ISIS funding remains as strong as ever, and notes that “the latest round of airstrikes are directly related to the administration’s new math. “You have to go after the oil, and you have to do it in a serious way, and we’ve just begun to do that now,” citing Benjamin Bahney, an international policy analyst at the Rand Corp., a U.S. Department of Defense-funded think tank.

To be sure, there are other sources of revenue: Bloomberg correctly notes that “even if the U.S. finally weakens the group’s oil income, Bahney and other analysts in the U.S., the Middle East, and Europe contend, Islamic State has resources beyond crude—from selling sex slaves to ransoming hostages to plundering stolen farmland—that can likely keep it fighting for years.”

Still, without a doubt, the dominant source of funds for the terrorists is oil, and not just oil, but a well-greased logistical machine that keeps thousands of barrels moving from unknown pumps to even refineries, and ultimately to smugglers who operated out of Turkey and other countries.

Here is Bloomberg:

Most often refined in Syria, the group’s oil is trucked to cities such as Mosul to provide people living under its black banner with fuel for generators and other basic needs. It’s also used to power the war machine. “They have quite an organized supply chain running fuel into Iraq and [throughout] the ‘caliphate,’  ” says Michael Knights, an Iraq expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, using the militant group’s religiously loaded term for itself. Because the U.S. apparently believed the real money for Islamic State came primarily via selling refined oil, rather than crude, last year’s strikes heavily targeted refineries and storage depots, says Bahney. He and other experts say that strategy missed an important shift: Militants increasingly sell raw crude to truckers and middlemen, rather than refining it themselves. So while Islamic State probably maintains some refining capacity, the majority of the oil in IS territory is refined by locals who operate thousands of rudimentary, roadside furnaces that dot the Syrian desert.

Here is where it gets interesting: Bloomberg cites Pentagon officials who acknowledge “that for more than a year they avoided striking tanker trucks to limit civilian casualties. None of these guys are ISIS. We don’t feel right vaporizing them, so we have been watching ISIS oil flowing around for a year,” says Knights. That changed on Nov. 16, when four U.S. attack planes and two gunships destroyed 116 oil trucks.

So any qualms about vaporizing “innocent civilians” promptly disappeared when the Pentagon realized that its 1+ year long campaign had been an epic debacle, that a suddenly surging ISIS was stronger as ever, and most importantly, that its critical revenue lifelines had been largely untouched for years. Perhaps they weren’t innocent civilians after all.

It is still unknown if this recent crackdown on “dumping oil”, or crude which dramatically lowers the price of oil in global markets – it certainly is an odd coincidence that the price of Brent and WTI began its tumble last fall, just when the Islamic State made its dramatic appearance on the world scene – will have an effect and cut off the primary source of funds to ISIS.

But what we have been wondering for months and what we hope some enterprising journalist will soon answer, is just who are the commodity trading firms that have been so generously buying millions of smuggled oil barrels procured by the Islamic State at massive discounts to market, and then reselling them to other interested parties.

In other words, who are the middlemen.

What we do know is who they may be: they are the same names that were quite prominent in the market in September when Glencore had its first, and certainly not last, near death experience: the Glencores, the Vitols, the Trafiguras, the Nobels, the Mercurias of the world.

To be sure, funding terrorist states is not something that some of the most prominent names in the list above have shied away from in the past.

Which one (or ones) are the guilty parties – those who have openly breached terrorism funding laws – we don’t know: it may be one, or more of the above, or someone totally different.

At this point, however, three things are certain: whoever the commodity trading house may be that is paying ISIS-affiliated “innocent civilians” hundreds of millions of dollars for their products, they are perfect aware just who the source of this deeply discounted crude is. Crude so deeply discounted, in fact, it results in massive profits for the enterprising middleman who are engaging in openly criminal transactions.

The second certainty: whoever said middleman is, it is very well known to US intelligence services such as the NSA and CIA, and thus to the Pentagon, and thus, the US government.

The third certainty is that while the US, and Russia, and now France, are all very theatrically bombing something in the Syrian desert (nobody really knows what), the funding of ISIS continues unabated as someone keeps buying ISIS oil.

We wonder how long until someone finally asks the all important question regarding the Islamic State: who is the commodity trader breaching every known law of funding terrorism when buying ISIS crude, almost certainly with the tacit approval by various “western alliance” governments, and why is it that these governments have allowed said middleman to continue funding ISIS for as long as it has?

Meet The Man Who Funds ISIS: Bilal Erdogan, The Son Of Turkey’s President

Russia’s Sergey Lavrov is not one foreign minister known to mince his words. Just earlier today, 24 hours after a Russian plane was brought down by the country whose president three years ago said “a short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack”, had this to say: “We have serious doubts this was an unintended incident and believe this is a planned provocation” by Turkey.

But even that was tame compared to what Lavrov said to his Turkish counterparty Mevlut Cavusoglu earlier today during a phone call between the two (Lavrov who was supposed to travel to Turkey has since canceled such plans).

As Sputnik transcribes, according to a press release from Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lavrov pointed out that, “by shooting down a Russian plane on a counter-terrorist mission of the Russian Aerospace Force in Syria, and one that did not violate Turkey’s airspace, the Turkish government has in effect sided with ISIS.

It was in this context when Lavrov added that “Turkey’s actions appear premeditated, planned, and undertaken with a specific objective.

More importantly, Lavrov pointed to Turkey’s role in the propping up the terror network through the oil trade. Per the Russian statement:

“The Russian Minister reminded his counterpart about Turkey’s involvement in the ISIS’ illegal trade in oil, which is transported via the area where the Russian plane was shot down, and about the terrorist infrastructure, arms and munitions depots and control centers that are also located there.”

Others reaffirmed Lavrov’s stance, such as retired French General Dominique Trinquand, who said that “Turkey is either not fighting ISIL at all or very little, and does not interfere with different types of smuggling that takes place on its border, be it oil, phosphate, cotton or people,” he said.

The reason we find this line of questioning fascinating is that just last week in the aftermath of the French terror attack but long before the Turkish downing of the Russian jet, we wrote about “The Most Important Question About ISIS That Nobody Is Asking” in which we asked who is the one “breaching every known law of funding terrorism when buying ISIS crude, almost certainly with the tacit approval by various “western alliance” governments, and why is it that these governments have allowed said middleman to continue funding ISIS for as long as it has?

Precisely one week later, in even more tragic circumstances, suddenly everyone is asking this question.

And while we patiently dig to find who the on and offshore “commodity trading” middleman are, who cart away ISIS oil to European and other international markets in exchange for hundreds of millions of dollars, one name keeps popping up as the primary culprit of regional demand for the Islamic State’s “terrorist oil” – that of Turkish president Recep Erdogan’s son: Bilal Erdogan.

His very brief bio:

Necmettin Bilal Erdogan, commonly known as Bilal Erdogan (born 23 April 1980) is the third child of Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, the current President of Turkey.

After graduating from Kartal Imam Hatip High School in 1999, Bilal Erdogan moved to the US for undergraduate education. He also earned a Masters Degree in John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 2004. After graduation, he served in the World Bank as intern for a while. He returned Turkey in 2006 and started to his business life. Bilal Erdogan is one of the three equal shareholders of “BMZ Group Denizcilik “, a marine transportation corporation.

Here is a recent picture of Bilal, shown in a photo from a Turkish 2014 article, which “asked why his ships are now in Syria”:

In the next few days, we will present a full breakdown of Bilal’s various business ventures, starting with his BMZ Group which is the name implicated most often in the smuggling of illegal Iraqi and Islamic State through to the western supply chain, but for now here is a brief, if very disturbing snapshot, of both father and son Erdogan by F. William Engdahl, one which should make everyone ask whether the son of Turkey’s president (and thus, the father) is the silent mastermind who has been responsible for converting millions of barrels of Syrian Oil into hundreds of millions of dollars of Islamic State revenue.

By F. William Engdahl, posted originally in New Eastern Outlook:

Erdogan’s Dirth Dangerous ISIS Games

More and more details are coming to light revealing that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, variously known as ISIS, IS or Daesh, is being fed and kept alive by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President and by his Turkish intelligence service, including MIT, the Turkish CIA. Turkey, as a result of Erdogan’s pursuit of what some call a Neo-Ottoman Empire fantasies that stretch all the way to China, Syria and Iraq, threatens not only to destroy Turkey but much of the Middle East if he continues on his present path.

In October 2014 US Vice President Joe Biden told a Harvard gathering that Erdogan’s regime was backing ISIS with “hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of tons of weapons…” Biden later apologized clearly for tactical reasons to get Erdo?an’s permission to use Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base for airstrikes against ISIS in Syria, but the dimensions of Erdogan’s backing for ISIS since revealed is far, far more than Biden hinted.

ISIS militants were trained by US, Israeli and now it emerges, by Turkish special forces at secret bases in Konya Province inside the Turkish border to Syria, over the past three years. Erdo?an’s involvement in ISIS goes much deeper. At a time when Washington, Saudi Arabia and even Qatar appear to have cut off their support for ISIS, they remaining amazingly durable. The reason appears to be the scale of the backing from Erdo?an and his fellow neo-Ottoman Sunni Islam Prime Minister, Ahmet Davuto?lu.

Nice Family Business

The prime source of money feeding ISIS these days is sale of Iraqi oil from the Mosul region oilfields where they maintain a stronghold. The son of Erdogan it seems is the man who makes the export sales of ISIS-controlled oil possible.

Bilal Erdo?an owns several maritime companies. He has allegedly signed contracts with European operating companies to carry Iraqi stolen oil to different Asian countries. The Turkish government buys Iraqi plundered oil which is being produced from the Iraqi seized oil wells. Bilal Erdogan’s maritime companies own special wharfs in Beirut and Ceyhan ports that are transporting ISIS’ smuggled crude oil in Japan-bound oil tankers.

Gürsel Tekin vice-president of the Turkish Republican Peoples’ Party, CHP, declared in a recent Turkish media interview, “President Erdogan claims that according to international transportation conventions there is no legal infraction concerning Bilal’s illicit activities and his son is doing an ordinary business with the registered Japanese companies, but in fact Bilal Erdo?an is up to his neck in complicity with terrorism, but as long as his father holds office he will be immune from any judicial prosecution.” Tekin adds that Bilal’s maritime company doing the oil trades for ISIS, BMZ Ltd, is “a family business and president Erdogan’s close relatives hold shares in BMZ and they misused public funds and took illicit loans from Turkish banks.”

In addition to son Bilal’s illegal and lucrative oil trading for ISIS, Sümeyye Erdogan, the daughter of the Turkish President apparently runs a secret hospital camp inside Turkey just over the Syrian border where Turkish army trucks daily being in scores of wounded ISIS Jihadists to be patched up and sent back to wage the bloody Jihad in Syria, according to the testimony of a nurse who was recruited to work there until it was discovered she was a member of the Alawite branch of Islam, the same as Syrian President Bashar al-Assad who Erdogan seems hell-bent on toppling.

Turkish citizen Ramazan Bagol, captured this month by Kurdish People’s Defence Units,YPG, as he attempted to join ISIS from Konya province, told his captors that said he was sent to ISIS by the ‘Ismailia Sect,’ a strict Turkish Islam sect reported to be tied to Recep Erdogan. Baol said the sect recruits members and provides logistic support to the radical Islamist organization. He added that the Sect gives jihad training in neighborhoods of Konya and sends those trained here to join ISIS gangs in Syria.

According to French geopolitical analyst, Thierry Meyssan, Recep Erdogan “organized the pillage of Syria, dismantled all the factories in Aleppo, the economic capital, and stole the machine-tools. Similarly, he organized the theft of archaeological treasures and set up an international market in Antioch…with the help of General Benoît Puga, Chief of Staff for the Elysée, he organized a false-flag operation intended to provoke the launching of a war by the Atlantic Alliance – the chemical bombing of la Ghoutta in Damascus, in August 2013. “

Meyssan claims that the Syria strategy of Erdo?an was initially secretly developed in coordination with former French Foreign Minister Alain Juppé and Erdogan’s then Foreign Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu, in 2011, after Juppe won a hesitant Erdogan to the idea of supporting the attack on traditional Turkish ally Syria in return for a promise of French support for Turkish membership in the EU. France later backed out, leaving Erdogan to continue the Syrian bloodbath largely on his own using ISIS.

Gen. John R. Allen, an opponent of Obama’s Iran peace strategy, now US diplomatic envoy coordinating the coalition against the Islamic State, exceeded his authorized role after meeting with Erdogan and “promised to create a “no-fly zone” ninety miles wide, over Syrian territory, along the whole border with Turkey, supposedly intended to help Syrian refugees fleeing from their government, but in reality to apply the “Juppé-Wright plan”. The Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, revealed US support for the project on the TV channel A Haber by launching a bombing raid against the PKK.” Meyssan adds.

There are never winners in war and Erdogan’s war against Syria’s Assad demonstrates that in bold. Turkey and the world deserve better. Ahmet Davutoglu’s famous “Zero Problems With Neighbors” foreign policy has been turned into massive problems with all neighbors due to the foolish ambitions of Erdogan and his gang.

How Turkey Exports ISIS Oil To The World: The Scientific Evidence

Over the course of the last four or so weeks, the media has paid quite a bit of attention to Islamic State’s lucrative trade in “stolen” crude.

On November 16, in a highly publicized effort, US warplanes destroyed 116 ISIS oil trucks in Syria. 45 minutes prior, leaflets were dropped advising drivers (who Washington is absolutely sure are not ISIS members themselves) to “get out of [their] trucks and run away.”

The peculiar thing about the US strikes is that it took The Pentagon nearly 14 months to figure out that the most effective way to cripple Islamic State’s oil trade is to bomb… the oil.

Prior to November, the US “strategy” revolved around bombing the group’s oil infrastructure. As it turns out, that strategy was minimally effective at best and it’s not entirely clear that an effort was made to inform The White House, Congress, and/or the public about just how little damage the airstrikes were actually inflicting. There are two possible explanations as to why Centcom may have sought to make it sound as though the campaign was going better than it actually was, i) national intelligence director James Clapper pulled a Dick Cheney and pressured Maj. Gen. Steven Grove into delivering upbeat assessments, or ii) The Pentagon and the CIA were content with ineffectual bombing runs because intelligence officials were keen on keeping Islamic State’s oil revenue flowing so the group could continue to operate as a major destabilizing element vis-a-vis the Assad regime.

Ultimately, Russia cried foul at the perceived ease with which ISIS transported its illegal oil and once it became clear that Moscow was set to hit the group’s oil convoys, the US was left with virtually no choice but to go along for the ride. Washington’s warplanes destroyed another 280 trucks earlier this week. Russia claims to have vaporized more than 1,000 transport vehicles in November.

Of course the most intriguing questions when it comes to Islamic State’s $400 million+ per year oil business, are: where does this oil end up and who is facilitating delivery? In an effort to begin answering those questions we wrote:

Turkey’s role in facilitating the sale of Islamic State oil has been the subject of some debate for quite a while. From “NATO is harbouring the Islamic State: Why France’s brave new war on ISIS is a sick joke, and an insult to the victims of the Paris attacks“, by Nafeez Ahmed:

“Turkey has played a key role in facilitating the life-blood of ISIS’ expansion: black market oil sales. Senior political and intelligence sources in Turkey and Iraq confirm that Turkish authorities have actively facilitated ISIS oil sales through the country. Last summer, Mehmet Ali Ediboglu, an MP from the main opposition, the Republican People’s Party, estimated the quantity of ISIS oil sales in Turkey at about $800 million—that was over a year ago. By now, this implies that Turkey has facilitated over $1 billion worth of black market ISIS oil sales to date.”

Here’s what former CHP lawmaker Ali Ediboglu said last year:

“$800 million worth of oil that ISIS obtained from regions it occupied this year [the Rumeilan oil fields in northern Syria — and most recently Mosul] is being sold in Turkey. They have laid pipes from villages near the Turkish border at Hatay. Similar pipes exist also at [the Turkish border regions of] Kilis, Urfa and Gaziantep. They transfer the oil to Turkey and parlay it into cash. They take the oil from the refineries at zero cost. Using primitive means, they refine the oil in areas close to the Turkish border and then sell it via Turkey. This is worth $800 million.”

Earlier this month, Ediboglu told Russian media that “ISIL holds the key to these deposits and together with a certain group of persons, consisting of those close to Barzani and some Turkish businessmen, they are engaged in selling this oil” (“Barzani” is a reference to Masoud Barzani, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region).

But even as Turkey’s ties to the ISIS oil trade have been hiding in plain sight for the better part of two years, the Western media largely ignores the issue (or at least the scope of it and the possible complicity of the Erdogan government) because after all, Turkey is a NATO member.

Unfortunately for Ankara, Erdogan’s move to shoot down a Russian Su-24 near the Syrian border on Tuesday prompted an angry Vladimir Putin to throw Turkey under the ISIS oil bus for the entire world to see. Here’s what Putin said yesterday after a meeting in Moscow with French President Francois Hollande:

“Vehicles, carrying oil, lined up in a chain going beyond the horizon. The views resemble a living oil pipe stretched from ISIS and rebel controlled areas of Syria into Turkey. Day and night they are going to Turkey. Trucks always go there loaded, and back from there – empty. We are talking about a commercial-scale supply of oil from the occupied Syrian territories seized by terrorists. It is from these areas [that oil comes from], and not with any others. And we can see it from the air, where these vehicles are going.”

“We assume that the top political leadership of Turkey might not know anything about this [illegal oil trade although that’s] hard to believe,” Putin continued, adding that “if the top political leadership doesn’t know anything about this, let them find out.”

Obviously, Putin is being sarcastic. He very clearly believes that the Erdogan government is heavily involved in the transport and sale of ISIS crude. In the immediate aftermath of the Su-24 incident, Putin said the following about Ankara:

  • PUTIN: OIL FROM ISLAMIC STATE IS BEING SHIPPED TO TURKEY
  • PUTIN SAYS ISLAMIC STATE GETS CASH BY SELLING OIL TO TURKEY

As part of our continuing effort to track and document the ISIS oil trade, we present the following excerpts from a study by George Kiourktsoglou, Visiting Lecturer, University of Greenwich, London and Dr Alec D Coutroubis, Principal Lecturer, University of Greenwich, London. The paper, entitled “ISIS Gateway To Global Crude Oil Markets,” looks at tanker charter rates from the port of Ceyhan in an effort to determine if Islamic State crude is being shipped from Southeast Turkey.

*  *  *

From “ISIS Gateway To Global Crude Oil Markets

The tradesmen/smugglers responsible for the transportation and sale of the black gold send convoys of up to thirty trucks to the extraction sites of the commodity. They settle their trades with ISIS on site, encouraged by customer friendly discounts and deferred payment schemes.  In this way, crude leaves Islamic State-run wells promptly and travels through insurgent-held parts of Syria, Iraq and Turkey.

Since allied U.S. air-raids do not target the truck lorries out of fear of provoking a backlash from locals, the transport operations are being run efficiently, taking place most of times in broad daylight. Traders lured by high profits are active in Syria (even in government-held territories), Iraq and south-east Turkey.

The supply chain comprises the following localities: Sanliura, Urfa, Hakkari, Siirt, Batman, Osmaniya, Gaziantep, Sirnak, Adana, Kahramarmaras, Adiyaman and Mardin. The string of trading hubs ends up in Adana, home to the major tanker shipping port of Ceyhan.

Ceyhan is a city in south-eastern Turkey, with a population of 110,000 inhabitants, of whom 105,000 live in the major metropolitan area. It is the second most developed and most populous city of Adana Province, after the capital Adana with a population of 1,700,000. It is situated on the Ceyhan River which runs through the city and it is located 43 km east of Adana. Ceyhan is the transportation hub for Middle Eastern, Central Asian and Russian oil and natural gas (Municipality of Ceyhan 2015).

The port of Ceyhan plays host to a marine oil terminal that is situated in the Turkish Mediterranean and has been operating since 2006. It receives hydrocarbons for further loading in tankers, which carry the commodity to world markets.

Additionally, the port features a cargo pier and an oil-terminal, both of 23.2m depth that can load tankers of more than 500 feet in length (Ports.com 2015). The annual export capacity of the terminal runs as high as 50 million tonnes of oil. The terminal is operated by Botas International Limited (BIL), a Turkish state company that also operates the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline on the territory of Turkey.

The quantities of crude oil that are being exported to the terminal in Ceyhan, exceed the mark of one million barrels per day. Putting this number into context and given that ISIS has never been able to trade daily more than 45,000 barrels of oil (see Section 2, ‘The Upstream Oil Business of ISIS’, page 2), it becomes evident that the detection of similar quantities of smuggled crude cannot take place through stock-accounting methods. However, the authors of the present paper believe that there is another proxy-indicator, far more sensitive to quantities of ultracheap smuggled crude. This is the charter rates for tankers loading at Ceyhan.

The Baltic Exchange (2015 a) tracks the charter rates on major seaborne trading routes of crude oil. To render its service more efficient and easily understood, it uses the system of Baltic Dirty Tanker Indices (Baltic Exchange 2015 b). One of these indices used to be the BDTI TD 11, 80,000 Cross Mediterranean from Baniyas, Syria to Laveras, France (see Map VI). Route 11 was discontinued in September 2011, due to Syria’s civil war and soon thereafter, it was replaced by BDTI TD 19 (TD19-TCE_Calculation 2015), of exactly the same technical specifications as BDTI TD 11, with the exception of the loading port of Ceyhan instead of Baniyas.

From July 2014 until February 2015, the curve of TD 19 features three unusual spikes that do not match the trends featured by the rest of the Middle East trade-routes (see Graph IV):

  1. The first spike develops from the 10th of July 2014 until the 21st, lasting approximately ten days. It coincides with the fall of Syria’s largest oil field, the AlOmar, in the hands of ISIS (Reuters 2014);
  2. The second spike takes place from the end of October until the end of November 2014, lasting one month. It happens at the same time with fierce fighting between fundamentalists and the Syrian army over the control of the Jhar and Mahr gas fields, as well as the Hayyan gas company in the east of Homs province (International Business Times 2014; Albawada News 214);
  3. The third spike lasts from the end of January 2015 until the 10th of February, stretching roughly ten days. It happens simultaneously with a sustained US-led campaign of airstrikes pounding ISIS strongholds in and around the town of Hawija east of the oil-rich Kirkuk (Rudaw 2015);

The authors of this paper would like to make it clear from the very beginning that this has not been the case of a ‘smoking gun’. The evidence has been inconclusive. But even if volumes of ISIS crude found their way, beyond any reasonable doubt, to the international crude oil markets via the Ceyhan terminal, this fact would not conclusively point to collusion between the Turkish authorities and the shadow network of smugglers, let alone ISIS operatives.

However, having clarified such a politically sensitive issue, the authors believe that there are strong hints to an illicit supply chain that ships ISIS crude from Ceyhan. Primary research points to a considerably active shadow network of crude oil smugglers and traders (see section 2.1, page 3), who channel ISIS crude to southeast Turkey from northeast Syria and northwest Iraq. Given the existence of Route E 90, the corresponding transportation of oil poses no insurmountable geographic and topological challenges.

An additional manifestation of the invisible nexus between Ceyhan and ISIS became evident through the concurrent study of the tanker charter rates from the port and the timeline of the terrorists’ military engagements (see section 3.4 on this page). It seems that whenever the Islamic State is fighting in the vicinity of an area hosting oil assets, the 13 exports from Ceyhan promptly spike. This may be attributed to an extra boost given to crude oil smuggling with the aim of immediately generating additional funds, badly needed for the supply of ammunition and military equipment. Unfortunately, in this case too, the authors cannot be categorical.

*  *  *

No, it can’t be categorical and frankly, if the authors claimed to have discovered indisputable proof, we would be immediately skeptical. What they have done however, is identify a statistical anomaly and develop a plausible theory to explain it.

The key thing to note, is that this is a state-run terminal and it certainly seems as though charter rates spike around significant oil-related events involving Islamic State. Indeed, the fact that the authors mention collusion between Turkish authorities and ISIS operatives (even if they do so on the way to hedging their conclusions) indicates that the researchers think such a partnership is possible.

Finally, note that Ceyhan is less than two hours by car from Incirlik air base from which the US is flying anti-ISIS sorties. In other words, ISIS oil is being shipped to the world right down the road from Washington’s preferred Mid-East forward operating base.

Now that we can add what looks like quantitative evidence that ISIS oil is shipped from Turkey to the voluminous qualitative evidence supplied by ex-Turkish lawmakers, investigative reporters, and the Russian government (to name just a few sources), we can now proceed to consider one final question: where does the crude that helps to fund Bakr al-Baghdadi’s caliphate ultimately end up? More on that over the weekend.

Obama Administration Says America’s Legal Gun Owners Are a Threat, But ISIS is No Threat At All

https://i2.wp.com/www.naturalnews.com/gallery/640/EditorialUse/Editorial-Use-Obama-Conference-White-House.jpg

(NaturalNews) American gun owners can spot a gun-grabber a mile away, and they have known for several years now that their president is one of them. Time and again, Barack Obama has attempted to goad the country and Congress into backing stricter gun control laws that would do little to reduce mass shootings that are statistically rare to begin with,[PDF] according to a government study.

But statistics and facts and the truth about guns don’t matter to an ideologue like Obama; as Guns.news, a Natural News indy partner site, reported recently, Obama is likely to spend his final year in office pressing for more gun control laws that will weaken the Second Amendment and actually make Americans more vulnerable to criminals.

To Obama, American gun owners are a threat and menace to society – he must obviously think so, otherwise he wouldn’t continually prioritize the pursuit of more and more gun laws when the existing laws on the books are more than enough to restrict and govern Americans and others who voluntarily choose to obey them. No new law or even gun bans would do anything to stop bad people from obtaining a firearm and doing bad things with it.

But you know who Obama doesn’t really believe is a threat to the U.S.? Members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS. If he did, he wouldn’t support or implement a policy that welcomes them into the United States disguised as “refugees.”

In stumping for support of his policy – he has announced that, despite the ISIS-backed terrorist attack in Paris Nov. 13, in which 129 people were killed and hundreds more wounded, he was committed to accepting some 10,000 Syrian refugees into the country.

Importing Terror While Trying To Disarm America

“We have very robust vetting procedures for those refugees. It involves our intelligence community, our national counter terrorism center, extensive interviews, vetting them against all the available information,” Deputy National Security Advisor to the President Ben Rhodes told Fox News recently. That’s not really true, since there is no reason to have Syrian citizens in U.S. government databases, making them all but impossible to vet.

But there is also this. Syria – and Syrians – are enemies of our lone trustworthy ally in the Middle East, Israel, having fought three wars against the Jewish state (1948, 1967 and 1973), which means that the Syrian government has always been hostile towards Israel’s principle benefactor, the United States. What sense does it make to import an ethnic group that was raised to hate you – because of your alliance with an archenemy and because of your “infidel” way of life?

How Many Are ‘Poisonous’?

The Obama Administration doesn’t want you to know such things, however. What’s more, the White House only wants you to consider that these refugees are really just harmless people fleeing a war-torn country, and that they deserve a chance at a better life in America.

There are a number of things wrong with these assertions, aside from those already mentioned. One is that radical Syrian refugees have already been involved in terrorist attacks, both within the “caliphate” of ISIS and aboard. One who was involved in the Paris attacks had a passport from Greece.

Another is that, domestically, Obama plans to infiltrate Syrian refugees into the heart of the country, and he’s already moving some into Louisiana, where one Syrian male has already gone missing. What happens when some of these new arrivals become radicalized? What happens if they already are radicalized? ISIS promised to use the refugee “crisis” as a Trojan Horse of sorts, to infiltrate its operatives into Western countries.

There are several popular memes on social media that attempt to portray, in clever but realistic terms, the fallacy of Obama’s Syrian refugee policy. One features a bowl of grapes and asks, “If I served you 10 and told you that two of them were poisonous, would you eat any?” The connotation, of course, is that while most Syrians may be harmless, a few may not be – and how many American lives are we willing to sacrifice to find out?

Obama is apparently ready to run the experiment and – if he gets his way – he’ll conduct it with a lesser-armed American citizenry.

5 Myths Regarding the Paris Terror Attacks

As usual, the politicos and talking heads are all talking their own book, using the Paris terror attacks to push their own agendas.

As shown below, they’re spouting nonsense.

Mass Surveillance Won’t Help

https://s3-eu5.ixquick.com/cgi-bin/serveimage?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia-cache-ec0.pinimg.com%2F736x%2Fef%2Fb7%2F33%2Fefb73373d254b9271cbcdf43756d9b27.jpg&sp=3690435b194768bf72e0637128ae858c

The NSA and other spy agencies are pretending that the Paris attacks show that we need more mass surveillance.

But the New York Times correctly points out in a scathing editorial that mass surveillance won’t help to prevent terrorism:

As one French counter terrorism expert and former defense official said, this shows that “our intelligence is actually pretty good, but our ability to act on it is limited by the sheer numbers.” In other words, the problem in this case was not a lack of data, but a failure to act on information authorities already had.

In fact, indiscriminate bulk data sweeps have not been useful. In the more than two years since the N.S.A.’s data collection programs became known to the public, the intelligence community has failed to show that the phone program has thwarted a terrorist attack. Yet for years intelligence officials and members of Congress repeatedly misled the public by claiming that it was effective.

In reality, top security experts agree that mass surveillance makes us MORE vulnerable to terrorists.

Indeed, even the NSA has previously admitted that it’s collecting too MUCH information to stop terror attacks.

Encryption Isn’t What Made Us Vulnerable

The spy agencies are also pretending that encryption made it impossible to stop the attacks.

But the Washington Post reports:

Several French outlets reported last night that a smartphone recovered near one of the massacre sites was not encrypted at all.

***

Hours after the attacks in Paris, Forbes quickly pointed to remarks by a Belgian official who said that Islamic State militants use the PlayStation 4’s chat functions as a way to communicate securely. The article also mentioned that a Sony PlayStation 4 was recovered in a police raid connected to the Paris investigation.

That report was later undermined by the real facts — that no PlayStation 4 had been collected and that the Belgian official had been talking about the use of PlayStation technology generally by terrorism suspects.

But it was too late. Reports spread across the news industry tying the PlayStation to the attacks (there is a second wave of stories sweeping the Internet trying to undo the damage).

Tech Dirt notes:

Most of the communications between the attackers was conducted via unencrypted vanilla SMS:

“…News emerging from Paris — as well as evidence from a Belgian ISIS raid in January — suggests that the ISIS terror networks involved were communicating in the clear, and that the data on their smartphones was not encrypted.

European media outlets are reporting that the location of a raid conducted on a suspected safe house Wednesday morning was extracted from a cellphone, apparently belonging to one of the attackers, found in the trash outside the Bataclan concert hall massacre. Le Monde reported that investigators were able to access the data on the phone, including a detailed map of the concert hall and an SMS messaging saying “we’re off; we’re starting.” Police were also able to trace the phone’s movements.

The reports note that Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the “mastermind” of both the Paris attacks and a thwarted Belgium attack ten months ago, failed to use any encryption whatsoever (read: existing capabilities stopped the Belgium attacks and could have stopped the Paris attacks, but didn’t). That’s of course not to say bat shit religious cults like ISIS don’t use encryption, and won’t do so going forward. Everybody uses encryption. But the point remains that to use a tragedy to vilify encryption, push for surveillance expansion, and pass backdoor laws that will make everybody less safe — is nearly as gruesome as the attacks themselves.

7 of the 8 Terrorists Were Known to U.S. or French Intelligence Agencies

Just as with 9/11, the Boston marathon bombings, and other recent attacks, governments are pretending “it wasn’t foreseeable”.

But CBS reports that law enforcement sources say that 7 of the 8 terrorists were known in advance to U.S. or French intelligence services.

The New York Times confirms:

Most of the men who carried out the Paris attacks were already on the radar of intelligence officials in France and Belgium, where several of the attackers lived only hundreds of yards from the main police station, in a neighborhood known as a haven for extremists.

Escalating War Against ISIS Is Not the Only Option

I’m all for killing members of ISIS.

But given that the U.S. and its close allies – Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and Bahrain – are massively supporting ISIS, stopping the arming, feeding and logistical support is even more important if we want to stop these crazies.

of the Terrorists Were Syrian

None of the Paris terrorists were Syrian. All of them were European nationals.

The German Interior Minister suggests that the Syrian passport found at the scene of the terror attacks was a “false flag” by ISIS meant to force countries to seal their borders against further refugees.

Why would they do this? Numerous security experts suggest that refugees fleeing ISIS’ “Caliphate” is a PR disaster for ISIS. After all, happy fundamentalist Muslims wouldn’t flee utopia, would they?

But we do take the risk of infiltration of refugee groups by terrorists very seriously. Indeed, the Telegraph reports today:

The mastermind of the Paris attacks was able to slip into Europe among Syrian migrants, it emerged last night, as police on the continent admitted they are unable to monitor thousands of suspected jihadists.

***

It has emerged that Abaaoud, and at least two of the Paris terrorists took the migrant route via Greece, intensifying fears that terrorists are able easily to exploit the refugee crisis to get to Europe.

Specifically, many of the Paris terrorists were European nationals who went to fight for ISIS in Syria, and then they slipped in with the refugees coming from Syria to get back into Europe.

So those saying that the civilians fleeing war and mayhem in Syria are all terrorists are wrong … but so are those saying that the massive refugee flow poses no danger.

ISIS Groomed ‘By Zionists, Americans,’ Paris Attack a ‘Plot’ to Send Army to Mid-East

https://i2.wp.com/cdn.cnsnews.com/styles/content_30p/s3/kayhan_front_page_.jpgOne of the leading daily newspapers in Iran, Kayhan, which is affiliated with the Supreme Leader Sayeed Ali Khamenei, is reporting that ISIS, or the Islamic State, is “a tool” of the United States and Israel and that the attacks in Paris were “a plot” to open the way for a Western army to to set down in Syria and remove President Bashar al-Assad.

As translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), Kayhan’s Editor Hossein Shariatmadari wrote on Nov. 15 that “ISIS elements are not the good soldiers of Iran and Hizbullah, who defend the innocent with their bodies. Rather, they are people with no sense, cultivated by the Zionists, Americans, British, French, and Saudis, and will attack anywhere there is an opportunity. … The French are paying for the crimes of their ministers.”

“Edward Snowden revealed that the CIA and Mossad were involved in establishing ISIS, which they called a ‘wasps’ nest’ that would attract extremists and create a security [buffer] for the Zionist regime,” stated the Kayhan.  Snowden further revealed that the ISIS leader had been trained extensively by the Mossad for a year, in both military tactics and public speaking.”

“Now, following the catastrophe in France and the deaths of innocents, next in line are the U.S., some Western countries, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey,” wrote the Iranian editor.  “[This is because] now … the terrorist elements … realize who the enemy is and are coming home to roost. That is, anyone who creates a wasps’ nest should expect the wasps to return to the nest.”

In two editorials published on Nov. 17 and 19, the Kayhan claimed that “France, America, and the Zionist regime, which support the terroists” were responsible for the Paris massacres on Nov. 13,reported MEMRI, and that “according to many documents, the terrorists [Islamic State] who claimed responsibility for the attacks were cultivated by the intelligence and security apparatuses of America and Western and Arab countries.”

The Islamic State operates “as a tool of the White House, the Élysée, Buckingham Palace, and Tel Aviv, with funds from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and their servants Turkey and Jordan, and carry out the plans of the U.S.,” stated the Kayhan editorial on Nov. 17.

In the Nov. 19 editorial, it reads, “Saying that the Paris event was a plot to dispatch an army to the Middle East and destroy ‘the resistance’ is not that baseless, especially if we recall that the U.S. project regarding the Middle East began with the events of 9/11 but has remained unfinished. If we agree that the Paris event was a plot … then it is possible that France itself has become a pawn.”

“For years, the U.S. and the Zionist regime have searched for a way to get their allies to foot the bill for dispatching an army to the region,” said the Kayhan.  This is the same plan they carried out in attacking Iraq and Afghanistan.”

https://i2.wp.com/cdn.cnsnews.com/styles/content_30p/s3/cartoon_2_0.jpg

MEMRI also reported that Ala Al-Din Boroujerdi, head of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in Iran, said at a Nov. 19 conference, “ISIS was created to divert attention away from the Zionist regime. Now the danger is palpable in all those countries involved in establishing ISIS.”

Also, Iran’s judiciary leader Sadegh Amoli Larijani said, “We should not only castigate American statesmen, but also prosecute them for supporting terrorist groups and for creating ISIS.”

In its report on thee Kayhan editorials and related news, MEMRI posted several cartoons published by different Iranian news services in the wake of the Paris attacks. In one cartoon, ISIS is shown holding a knife to the world while simultaneously receiving money from the United States and Israel. In another cartoon, Israeli Prime Minister is depicted as a puppeteer arming an ISIS terrorist with a suicide bomb vest who is headed to Paris.

ISIS Spreads to Afghanistan, Libya and Ukraine

Everywhere the U.S. Promotes Regime Change, ISIS Follows

Asshole Terrorist - DAP

You know about ISIS in Syria and Iraq …

But did you know that ISIS is also spreading like a cancer in Afghanistan?

The Independent reported in July:

The Americans, who were, just three months ago, dismissing the arrival of Isis in Afghanistan as nothing more than an internal squabble within Taliban, now belatedly acknowledge they are facing a growing threat with very limited means of response after the withdrawal of the bulk of international forces at the end of last year.

The head of the US military has held an urgent meeting with Afghan president Ashraf Ghani to discuss how to “oppose the threat posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant”. General Martin Dempsey spoke afterwards about the need to address “the transregional nature of what is clearly a persistent threat that has to be addressed at a sustainable level over a period of time”.

The Americans, in other words, are casting around for a strategy.

Isis has been posting videos of Pakistani soldiers being beheaded and has declared that the “Islamist State” will spread across Afghanistan and Pakistan.

As well as seizing territory from the Taliban, Isis are grabbing opium, of which Afghanistan is the biggest producer in the world, and moving it west along parts of Iraq under its control, adding to their already substantial war chest.

And see this and this.

Similarly, ISIS is metastasizing in Libya.  As the New Yorker notes:

“We think the threat from ISIL-affiliated groups in Libya is very serious and we’re treating it that way,” a senior Administration official told me, on Friday. “Libyans are, too. We’re seeing an increasing Libyan awareness of and willingness to confront the ISIL threat as time goes on.” The official added that the Administration was “ looking at who we can work with, both internally and externally, in order to confront that threat, without necessarily being completely dependent on the political process reaching a conclusion.”

Another senior Administration official noted, “You have the Americans doing things, and the French in the south, but to really leverage that against ISIS you need a national-unity government in Libya.” Such a government, he explained, would be able to request international military assistance. In the absence of a national-unity government, Frederic Wehrey, of the Carnegie Endowment, said he expected the U.S. to embrace some of the Libyan militia groups and “to work with whoever to fight ISIS.”

Sound familiar?

ISIS is even spreading to Ukraine … as demonstrated by reports from The Intercept, RT, Jewish Voice, Al Jazeera and Antiwar.

In fact, all of the countries which the U.S. “regime changed” (including Syria) have descended into brutal chaos.

Latest US Campaign To Overthrow A Mid-East Government Just Ended In Total Failure

One week ago, when summarizing the current state of play in Syria, we said that for Obama, “this is shaping up to be the most spectacular US foreign policy debacle since Vietnam.” Yesterday, in tacit confirmation of this assessment, the Obama administration threw in the towel on one of the most contentious programs it has implemented in “fighting ISIS”, when the Defense Department announced it was abandoning the goal of a U.S.-trained Syrian force.

But this, so far, partial admission of failure only takes care of one part of Obama’s problem: there is the question of the “other” rebels supported by the US, those who are not part of the officially-disclosed public program with the fake goal of fighting ISIS; we are talking, of course, about the nearly 10,000 CIA-supported “other rebels”, or technically mercenaries, whose only task is to take down Assad.

The same “rebels” whose fate the AP profiles today when it writes that the CIA began a covert operation in 2013 to arm, fund and train a moderate opposition to Assad. Over that time, the CIA has trained an estimated 10,000 fighters, although the number still fighting with so-called moderate forces is unclear.

The effort was separate from the one run by the military, which trained militants willing to promise to take on IS exclusively. That program was widely considered a failure, and on Friday, the Defense Department announced it was abandoning the goal of a U.S.-trained Syrian force, instead opting to equip established groups to fight IS.

It is this effort, too, that in the span of just one month Vladimir Putin has managed to render utterly useless, as it is officially “off the books” and thus the US can’t formally support these thousands of “rebel-fighters” whose only real task was to repeat the “success” of Ukraine and overthrow Syria’s legitimate president: something which runs counter to the US image of a dignified democracy not still resorting to 1960s tactics of government overthrow. That, and coupled with Russia and Iran set to take strategic control of Syria in the coming months, the US simply has no toehold any more in the critical mid-eastern nation.

And so another sad chapter in the CIA’s book of failed government overthrows comes to a close, leaving the “rebels” that the CIA had supported for years, to fend for themselves.

From AP:

CIA-backed rebels in Syria, who had begun to put serious pressure on President Bashar Assad’s forces, are now under Russian bombardment with little prospect of rescue by their American patrons, U.S. officials say.

Over the past week, Russia has directed parts of its air campaign against U.S.-funded groups and other moderate opposition in a concerted effort to weaken them, the officials say. The Obama administration has few options to defend those it had secretly armed and trained.

The Russians “know their targets, and they have a sophisticated capacity to understand the battlefield situation,” said Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Kan., who serves on the House Intelligence Committee and was careful not to confirm a classified program. “They are bombing in locations that are not connected to the Islamic State” group.

With the US now in damage control mode, the finger pointing begins.

First, it is only natural that finger will point at Putin – after all he is an easy target:

U.S. intelligence officials see many factors motivating Russia’s intervention: Moscow’s reasserting its primacy as a great power, propping up Assad and wanting to deal a blow to the United States, which has insisted that Assad must go to end Syria’s civil war.

Russia is also interested in containing IS, an organization that includes thousands of Chechen fighters who may pose a threat to Russia, officials say.

But in the short term, “my conclusion is that the timing of their intervention was driven by Assad really going critical,” said Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn., also a House Intelligence Committee member.

Alas, blaming Putin only underscores his latest victory over the US state department, leaving the US diplomatic corps no choice but to blame its own. This is imminent, and many heads will – or should – roll.

The administration is scrambling to come up with a response to Russia’s moves, but few believe the U.S. can protect its secret rebel allies. The administration has all but ruled out providing CIA-backed groups with surface-to-air missiles that can down aircraft, fearing such weapons would end up in the wrong hands, officials say.

Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the committee, says the U.S. should consider establishing a no-fly zone that allows rebels a safe place from which to operate, and shooting down Syrian helicopters that are bombing civilians. He said the U.S. also should provide arms to the Ukrainian government fighting Russian-backed separatists.

A no-fly zone would require the U.S. military to be ready to engage in air battles with the Syrian government, something it is not prepared to do.

Why? Because it is not the Syrian government that is flying those sorties above Syria, it is Putin, and despite all the posturing, Obama is unwilling to risk World War III just to stop a Qatar gas pipeline to Europe.

Which means Obama now has just one option: admitting that his latest gamble to overthrow Assad, one which started in 2013 with the fake YouTube clips of “chemical attacks”, and the resultant naval escalation, coupled with the CIA’s training of thousands of local rebels mercenaries, and which escalated with the “appearance” of ISIS in the summer of 2014, is about to end with Obama admitting yet another major political defeat.

The administration “is debating the merits of taking further action or whether they are better off letting Putin hang himself,” he said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Because somehow handing over control of the Middle East to the Russian-controlled axis – incidentally the topic of another article yesterday in the WSJ “America’s Fading Footprint in the Middle East” – is now spun as a defeat for Putin.

“Our options are much narrower than they were two weeks ago,” said Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, who serves on the Intelligence and Armed Services committees. “I don’t think there is any simple answer. … Further air involvement has become very problematic because of the Russian engagement.”

And so Putin has once again “won”, or as the administration would prefer to spin it, “has hung himself.”

Incidentally, this is just the beginning. Now that the U.S. has begun its pivot out of the middle-east, handing it over to Putin as Russia’s latest sphere of influence on a silver platter, there will be staggering consequences for middle-east geopolitics. In out preview of things to come last week, we concluded by laying these out; we will do the same again:

The US, in conjunction with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, attempted to train and support Sunni extremists to overthrow the Assad regime. Some of those Sunni extremists ended up going crazy and declaring a Medeival caliphate putting the Pentagon and Langley in the hilarious position of being forced to classify al-Qaeda as “moderate.” The situation spun out of control leading to hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths and when Washington finally decided to try and find real “moderates” to help contain the Frankenstein monster the CIA had created in ISIS (there were of course numerous other CIA efforts to arm and train anti-Assad fighters, see below for the fate of the most “successful” of those groups), the effort ended up being a complete embarrassment that culminated with the admission that only “four or five” remained and just days after that admission, those “four or five” were car jacked by al-Qaeda in what was perhaps the most under-reported piece of foreign policy comedy in history.

Meanwhile, Iran sensed an epic opportunity to capitalize on Washington’s incompetence. Tehran then sent its most powerful general to Russia where a pitch was made to upend the Mid-East balance of power. The Kremlin loved the idea because after all, Moscow is stinging from Western economic sanctions and Vladimir Putin is keen on showing the West that, in the wake of the controversy surrounding the annexation of Crimea and the conflict in eastern Ukraine, Russia isn’t set to back down. Thanks to the fact that the US chose extremists as its weapon of choice in Syria, Russia gets to frame its involvement as a “war on terror” and thanks to Russia’s involvement, Iran gets to safely broadcast its military support for Assad just weeks after the nuclear deal was struck. Now, Russian airstrikes have debilitated the only group of CIA-backed fighters that had actually proven to be somewhat effective and Iran and Hezbollah are preparing a massive ground invasion under cover of Russian air support. Worse still, the entire on-the-ground effort is being coordinated by the Iranian general who is public enemy number one in Western intelligence circles and he’s effectively operating at the behest of Putin, the man that Western media paints as the most dangerous person on the planet.

As incompetent as the US has proven to be throughout the entire debacle, it’s still difficult to imagine that Washington, Riyadh, London, Doha, and Jerusalem are going to take this laying down and on that note, we close with our assessment from Thursday:  “If Russia ends up bolstering Iran’s position in Syria (by expanding Hezbollah’s influence and capabilities) and if the Russian air force effectively takes control of Iraq thus allowing Iran to exert a greater influence over the government in Baghdad, the fragile balance of power that has existed in the region will be turned on its head and in the event this plays out, one should not expect Washington, Riyadh, Jerusalem, and London to simply go gentle into that good night.”

Which is not to say that the latest US failure to overthrow a mid-east government was a total failure. As Joshua Landis, a Syria expert at the University of Oklahoma says “probably 60 to 80 percent of the arms that America shoveled in have gone to al-Qaida and its affiliates.”

Which is at least great news for the military-industrial complex. It means more “terrorist attacks” on U.S. “friends and allies”, and perhaps even on U.S. soil – all courtesy of the US government supplying the weapons – are imminent.

Understanding The Importance: Russian airstrikes are targeting CIA-backed terrorists

by Justin King for The Fifth Column

Washington, DC (TFC) – US officials are crying and launching a media blitz about Russia’s airstrikes in Syria. The western media smiles and nods as it continues to support DC’s narrative without examining the realities of the situation on the ground or the intentions of Moscow.

Image Source: Vitaly V. Kuzmin, Wikimedia, Creative Commons

The Russian Air Force bombed areas held by a rebel group that engages in kidnappings for ransom, employs child soldiers, executes civilians, and tortures prisoners. This isn’t disputed by the US. The problem is that this particular rebel group is funded and trained by the CIA. These are the “moderate rebels” the US has been supporting. The air strikes are proof positive that Russian President Putin has no intention of abandoning Syrian President Assad and that Russia will not follow the US script. The US hoped that Russia would limit its attacks to the Islamic State forces, which were also clandestinely supported by NATO. By focusing the fight on the Islamic State, the “moderate rebels” of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) could continue to destabilize Assad.

The US Fails To Understand The Russian Plan

It should come as no surprise that the Administration which has led the US through one of the worst foreign policy disasters in recent history has failed to grasp the situation. Russian military doctrine and US military doctrine are very different. The Russians have no intention of engaging in a low-intensity conflict. The plan is simply to destroy opposition to Assad. The US screams that Russia has not targeted the Islamic State directly yet. US doctrine stipulates that since the Islamic State is more public and brutal while committing war crimes, they should be the priority. Russian doctrine focuses on destroying pockets of resistance, creating a single front, and then steam rolling over the opposition in battles of attrition. It should not have come as surprise to US intelligence that the Russian military targeted a pocket of resistance near Homs, the third largest city in Syria, and two fronts that threaten Hama and Latakia, the fourth and fifth largest cities. Latakia also maintains a port that will be important if there is a mass buildup of Russian troops. Air routes into Syria have to skirt the airspace of other nations; logistically the ports need to be secured. The Institute for the Study of War has produced a map that clearly illustrates why Russia chose the targets it did.

Once these pockets are destroyed and the major cities are secured, Russia will begin moving it’s operations further East. While Russia may engage in some bombing of the Islamic State to degrade capabilities prior to this, these operations will be attacking targets of opportunity and serve little genuine purpose beyond public relations. As Syrian government and Russian forces move East, the Islamic State will decline to go toe to toe in pitched battles. They will instead flee across the border into Iraq, and Frankenstein’s monster will once again become the problem of the United States.

US officials made veiled threats about the dangers of Russian and US warplanes operating in the same vicinity. Of course, the Russian military,  via an emissary to the US Embassy in Baghdad, provided the US with a one-hour warning to clear Syrian airspace. While the US may posture all it wishes, the fact remains that Russia was invited by the recognized government of Syria to conduct military operations in its territory. The United States has not been invited. The US is unarguably the aggressor in Syria. It has funded groups that by all rights should be regarded as terrorist organizations. The US has no moral authority and is not in a position to tell Moscow how to run its war.

It is important to remember that the US Defense Intelligence Agency has stated that Syria is unlikely to survive as a nation. There is no reason for the United States to escalate in an attempt to place a friendly regime in Damascus. The best strategy for the US at this point would be to cut its losses and allow Russia to clean up the mess that has left millions homeless and hundreds of thousands dead. The United Kingdom has already decided to cooperate with Russia.

Sadly, another difference in Russian and US military doctrine is the consideration of civilians. While Russia does not historically target civilians, it also makes little effort to avoid them. The threshold of what is considered acceptable collateral damage is much higher. The world should expect the civilian death toll to rise. This will most likely cause another spike in the number of refugees fleeing the country.

Editor’s Note: The Fifth Column has repeatedly proven itself adept at analyzing raw intelligence, however, we are not an intelligence agency. This leaves the American reader with a very uncomfortable question. Is it more likely that a news organization with a minimum staff, which hasn’t reached its first birthday and that pays most of its sources in beer better at analyzing intelligence data than the combined US intelligence community with tens of thousands of analysts and its multi-billion dollar budget; or is the US government once again misrepresenting intelligence to the American people at the risk of American lives?

Russian Report States Total Defeat Of US Military Would Take 3 Weeks

A comprehensive Ministry of Defense (MoD) report circulating in the Kremlin today stunningly states that a total defeat of all United States military forces by Federation forces is possible to achieve in about 3 weeks should President Putin order the activation of the Ministries “first strike” war plan against America and its NATO allies.

According to this report, a total defeat of all US military forces would begin with the immediate destruction/disablement of all 19 US Navy aircraft carriers and capable aircraft carriers , the destruction/disablement of all US-NATO military satellites, a strategic takeover of US-NATO heavy arms depots in Norway and Germany by airborne Spetsnaz (Special Forces) troops, the “obliteration” of all US bases in the United Kingdom, the saturation of European Union airspace utilizing special weapons technology and the “preparation for use” of 500 tactical nuclear weapons.

Once having accomplished the foregoing, this report continues, total US-NATO troop losses would exceed 35,000 (dead, wounded, captured and missing) with an accompanying loss of, at least, $15 trillion in US-NATO equipment (ships, aircraft, armour, etc.).

Having then achieved an initial tactical advantage over US-NATO forces within the first 24 hours of war, this report notes, a stipulation to end hostilities would then be issued to the West demanding the immediate removal of all American forces, nuclear weapons and equipment from Europe which when accomplished Federation forces would then disengage and cede their territorial gains.

If rejected though, this report grimly warns, Federation forces would then begin tactically nuking US-NATO military bases in Europe while simultaneously initiating EMP/Electronic Warfare against the United States and Canada and “preparing for use” the Federations intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM’s).

Most bizarre/ingenious in this MoD report, however, is its stating that the political machinations that will erupt in the West, especially the United States, upon the initial outbreak of war involving global warming alarmists, and other such environmental and social engineers, and their fears of total global nuclear war occurring, will cause both the US and EU to lose their political will to fight nearly immediately.

The global warming environmental factions in the West, this report explains, will call for an immediate halt to war over their fears of the catastrophic damage to the environment that would occur due to nuclear war, while Western social engineers will fear losing their anti-Christian global agenda should the Christian forces of the Federation prevail.

Critical to note, also, in this MoD report is its actually stating that tens-of-millions of Christian-Americans could very well provide another “fifth column” of Federation support due to their having to either defend their own “demonic” leaders destroying their nation, or, defend the Christian-Federation forces seeking to liberate the United States, Europe and the rest of the world from the blatant reordering of Western society towards “satanic design”.

And should these “fifth column” Christian-Americans support the Federation, this report claims, an all-out nuclear catastrophe would be averted and the United States, under new Christian leadership, would then be able to return to its peaceful ways and quit terrorizing the world.

With US Army readiness levels now being reported being at historic lows, and half of all US Marine Corps units at their home bases now below the levels of required war readiness too, this report further states, the mass exodus of Christian-Americans from their military forces have also left this once feared fighting force nothing short of a training ground for Obama regime sexual/gender experimentation incapable of waging war.

Among the numerous shocking examples cited in this MoD report detailing how far the US military has fallen into sexual deviancy under the Obama regime are US Marines in Okinawa now performing while wearing women’s clothing (in drag) and US Army troops being forced to wear women’s high-heel shoes as part of their “diversity” training.

With President Obama having just appointed an openly gay man, Eric K. Fanning, to now lead the US Army, this report continues, he has refused to listen to his own Center for Military Readiness who in June warned that the Pentagons new gender orders take “diversity” to extremes thus further weakening America’s fighting strength.

And in Christian-Federation forces facing such a “sexual-deviated” force, this report estimates, it would only take 3 weeks before these Americans “will to fight” was extinguished.

To if President Putin would authorize the MoD’s “first-strike” war plan against US and NATO this report doesn’t say, but with America now becoming a nation where one of their top comedians is a 10-year-old child named Saffron Herndon who gets laughs from her audiences telling such jokes as “Online dating is tough. Every time I meet someone new they end up in jail”, and one of that nations top magazines, Salon, has now started openly supporting adult-child sex in their promotion of the Virtuous Pedophiles website stating that pedophilia is just another “sexual preference, one could clearly see why he might.

After all, things from Hell belong in Hell…maybe its time for someone, anyone, to put these monsters back where they belong.

Obama In Ecstasy As “Nuclear Tsunami” Ignites Islamic End Times Fears

An absolutely shocking new report prepared by the Ministry of Defense (MoD) for the use of President Putin during his upcoming meeting with President Obama at the United Nations warns that the American leader has become “ecstatic” (defined as the mental transport or rapture from the contemplation of divine things) and is “without doubt” under the influence of Sunni Muslim messianic fervor believing that his actions will accelerate the coming of the Al-Mahdi (the Mahdi).

According to this report, since taking office in 2009, President Obama has affiliated himself with the Sunni Islamic theocracy of Saudi Arabia, which by law forbids religious minorities from practicing their religion, and has created for himself a de facto alternate capitol city in Beverly Hills, California, which hundreds of Saudi princes now call home, some of them even being allowed to sexually brutalize women.

Of the closest of these Saudi princes to President Obama, this report continues, is prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who in 1988 helped his young protégé, who would become the future American President, to enter into Harvard Law School.

Another of prince Al-Waleed bin Talal’s protégés, this report explains, was an Iraqi Islamic scholar named Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi who, in 2009, President Obama ordered released from the US militaries Camp Bucca detention center in Iraq where he had been held as a “grave security threat” since 2004.

Upon President Obama ordering al-Baghdadi’s freed in 2009, this report says, US Army Colonel Kenneth King, then the commanding officer of Camp Bucca, failed to comprehend that this Saudi trained Sunni Islamic scholar would become the world’s most feared terrorist, but did note that al-Baghdadi stated upon his release, “I’ll see you guys in New York”.

Immediately after al Baghdadi was released, however, this report continues, President Obama further ordered the US military to turn over to the Iraqi army billions-of-dollars of weapons, armor and other war making materials which were then stationed in and around the Iraqi city of Mosel.

This is a critical point to note, this report explains, because when President Obama failed to come to an agreement with Iraq to allow US forces to remain in Iraq, and they were subsequently all removed in 2011, al-Baghdadi’s forces captured Mosel as Iraqi government forces fled thus giving him, in essence, a “ready made army”…along with over $425 million in cash and gold making al Baghdadi and his followers “the world’s richest terror force”.

Once armed with weapons and war material generously supplied by President Obama, this report says, al-Baghdadi then solidified his forces becoming what is known now as the Islamic State…ISIS/ISIL…declaring that he was the now the rightful leader of Islam, immediately after which he began receiving massive funding from not only Saudi Arabia, but Kuwait and Qatar too.

Critical to note about why President Obama and his Saudi and Gulf State allies have supported al Baghdadi and his ISIS/ISIL terrorists, this report states, is the Sunni Islamic belief that our world is in the “end times”…a belief also shared by Shiite Muslims.

In the competing “end times” narrative between the Sunni and Shiite branches of Islam, however, this report explains, President Obama has sided with the most radical version supported by Saudi Arabia and its Sunni allies…which calls for a world being led by Muslims and the extermination by genocide of all disbelievers, or their conversion.

Chillingly, this report continues, this “end time” view of President Obama’s and Saudi Arabia’s ISIS/ISIL was recently confirmed by German journalist Jürgen Todenhöfer, the only Western reporter ever allowed to have access to the high command of this terrorist state, who grimly warned that ISIS is a ‘nuclear ‘tsunami’ that wants to wipe hundreds-of-millions from face of the earth and stated: “I don’t see anyone who has a real chance to stop them.”

Even though Todenhöfer doesn’t see anyway to stop ISIS/ISL, this report says, President Putin does, and as evidenced by the tacit” agreement secretly reached between the US and Russia this past week.

Standing in President Putin’s way, however, of actually achieving this agreement to end ISIS/ISIL, this report warns, is President Obama himself…who on 19 September requested a meeting with President Putin proposing two possible dates, but then yesterday lied and said President Putin requested this meeting stating that Russia’s leader was “desperate.

Even worse, says this report, President Obama, in his and Saudi Arabia’s latest effort to protect ISIS/ISIL, blocked Russia’s proposal to include the ISIS/ISIL on the UN Security Council’s sanctions list as an independent organization.

And going from the merely frustrating to the outright comical in dealing with the ISIS/ISIL global threat, this report continues, President Obama not only supported making Saudi Arabia the head of the United Nations Human Rights Council this week, his administration actually said they welcomed it!

As to how President Obama can morally justify making Saudi Arabia the UN leader in human rights, this report states, defies all common logic as that nation has not only beheaded over 100 people this year, including children, but has, also, copied ISIS/ISIL and reinstated the barbaric ritual of crucifying to death those who break their religious laws.

To if President Obama’s messianic fervor in Islamic “end times” theology can be stopped, this report concludes, is not known.

What is known though is if President Obama’s madness isn’t stopped, our world will plunged into total war.

Europe’s Refugee Crisis: Violence, Demands, and Muslim Conquest

https://westernrifleshooters.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/polls_europe_2015_4127_918918_answer_2_xlarge.jpeg?w=500

As Muslims swarm into Europe, the long-term implications are clear as violence erupts and demands are made.

For example, the tiny Greek island of Lesbos, situated 6 miles from the Turkish shore, has a population of 85,000. But life for Greeks who live there has changed in hideously threatening ways, as they have been overwhelmed with 25,000 Muslim invaders. With no end in sight. The invaders arrive on inflatable boats, which they slash once they reach the shore. Breitbart reports on German news coverage (RTL):

…they are being held on the Island while the police issue emigration documents, a delay which can take days. The wait is causing tension between groups as Afghans accuse Syrians of getting preferential treatment by the authorities, leading to vicious violent clashes.

As rocks, bottles and municipal bins fly, one tearful local woman told RTL “We are in danger, every day, every minute. We need someone to protect us. They come into our houses. I want to go to work, but I can’t. Our children want to go to school, but they can’t. They have stolen our lives!” (snip)

The main town of Lesbos, Mytilene, now resembles a war zone as the migrants rip apart the infrastructure and use the town as a urinal. Mayor Galinos helpless in the face of such an onslaught is out of ideas, and is calling on the European Union to do something.

“This is a ticking time bomb that will go off soon,” he said. “We have managed to avert some catastrophes, but we need help, more ferries. This island is so small, we can’t solve a worldwide humanitarian crisis by ourselves. The European Union needs to act.” (snip)

Junior interior minister Yiannis Mouzalas told local radio “the situation is on the verge of explosion.” It is a scene being replicated on islands all along Greece’s coastline.

Video of the explosive scene described in the excerpt above can be found, here. It is emblematic of Europe’s Muslim problem – a problem growing exponentially with each passing hour.

The report noting tensions between Afghans and Syrians reveals one among many truths that is frequently overlooked, which is that the Muslim invaders are not just Syrians. As can be seen on this map from a UN Refugee Report, only half are from Syria. The rest come from nine other Middle Eastern or North African countries, including 14% from Afghanistan.

If you think the map looks like part of an ISIS battle plan, you would be correct. This is exactly what ISIS promised earlier this year: to flood Europe with 500,000 African Muslims, sent by boat across the Mediterranean Sea. What is now unfolding is at a level far and beyond ISIS’s wildest dreams. Hijrah in action.

Meanwhile, despite media coverage that plasters images of women and children embarking on this centuries-old invasion, it is worthy to note that, per the United Nations, 72% of these “Mediterranean sea arrivals” are single men. (“Mediterranean sea arrivals” being innocuous terminology for Islamic conquest.)

Breitbart also reports: “They are young. They are fit. They clearly know what they want….Yes, there are families…Plenty with young children. But if you stand and take a rough count it is hard not to come to the conclusion that young men are in the overwhelming majority….”

Without a doubt, young Muslim males often pose a special kind of threat. However Muslim women present a risk, as well, because traveling with them and their children is a totalitarian ideology that is incompatible with Western values. And that is the problem.

When many in the West look at photographs of Muslims arriving en masse to the southern shores of Europe they fail to see the hatred that lies in the hearts of many of these imports from Islamic nations – hatred, I might add, for us, our values, and our way of life. Hatred we have seen played out here and across Europe, from creeping Sharia to overt acts of terror and everything in between.

And so, not unexpectedly, this mash up of Muslims from the Middle East and North Africa are causing an outbreak of violence across Europe, along with a hefty dose of entitlement as these conquerors make demands.

We’ve seen this before.

It’s how Muslims assert supremacy, even when they are the minority population. And even, apparently, within hours of their arrival in their new host country. Daniel Greenfield writes for Front Page Magazine:

The Syrian refugee crisis that the media bleats about is not a crisis. And the Syrian refugees it champions are often neither Syrians nor refugees. Fake Syrian passports are cheaper than an EU politician’s virtue and easier to come by. Just about anyone who speaks enough Arabic to pass the scrutiny of a European bureaucrat can come with his two wives in tow and take a turn on the carousel of their welfare state.

Or on our welfare state which pays Christian and Jewish groups to bring the Muslim terrorists of tomorrow to our towns and cities. And their gratitude will be as short-lived as our budgets.

The head of a UNHCR camp called Syrian refugees “The most difficult refugees I’ve ever seen. In Bulgaria, they complained that there were no jobs. In Sweden, they took off their clothes to protest that it was too cold.

In Italy, Muslim African “refugees” rejected pasta and demanded food from their own countries. But the cruel Europeans who “mistreat” migrants set up a kitchen in Calais with imported spices cooked by a Michelin chef determined to give them the stir-fried rabbit and lamb meatballs they’re used to. There are also mobile phone charging stations so the destitute refugees can check on their Facebook accounts.

It had to be done because the refugees in Italy were throwing rocks at police while demanding free wifi.

This is the tawdry sense of entitlement of the Syrian Muslim refugee that the media champions.

Hussein said: “We have the feeling that the aid workers are heartless.” (He) lives in a trailer that cost $3,000. The air-conditioner runs with electricity he is tapping from the Italian hospital. The water for his tea is from canisters provided by UNICEF. He hasn’t worked, paid or thanked anyone for any of it.

And why would he? He’s entitled to it by virtue of his superiority as a Muslim and our inferiority as infidels. There is no sense of gratitude. Only constant demands as if the people who drove out their own Christians and Jews have some moral claim on the charity of the Christians and Jews of the West.

Yes, indeed. Demands on those whom they drove from their own countries. Some might call it nerve. But it’s more codified than that. It is Islamic supremacy as written in the Quran.

And yet the West just can’t seem to get enough of it.

Go figure.

The United States, like Europe, has wrapped itself in a cloak of denial and complicity with respect to Muslim immigration. Apparently most people would prefer to find their life and the soul of their country fade to black than face the truth and defend what is rightfully theirs, yours, ours.

There is not a single GOP candidate speaking the truth on this. Not one. (And of course no one on the left is as they, along with Muslim Brotherhood front groups, are lobbying to bring more refugees here.)

We’ve got Republican candidates talking about courage and truth; leadership and challenging the status quo. We’ve got two candidates talking about making America great again and candidates with slogans like “telling it like it is.”

But where is the courage, the truth, the leadership, the challenge to the status quo, the plan for renewing our greatness, or the telling it like it is with respect to the mounting threat of Muslim immigration?

It is nowhere to be found.

In a span of just a few days on the question of whether the United States should take in (more) “refugees,” Trump went from “possibly yes,” to “we have to,” to giving a more ambiguous statement that suggests that perhaps we shouldn’t. There’s no way of telling how many more changes in his position will occur between now and publication of this article.

Rubio stated he was “possibly open” to the idea. Cruz opposes us taking “large numbers” of refugees. Fiorina thinks Europe should do more, as if Germany’s insanely eager acceptance of nearly a million is not enough. Walker evaded the issue completely by saying it makes no sense to respond to hypotheticals. Kasich is all in for the US taking more refugees. Paul eked out a vague and ambiguous response. Graham thinks “sure, absolutely” the United States should accept refugees, otherwise referred to as our “fair share.” Jindal seems to be the only candidate who has expressed an unequivocal “no.” Whether he stands by that over time or caves to pressure, remains to be seen. Though it hardly matters. The man is polling at 0. Bush, Carson and others have not yet weighed in, but it’s safe to assume tepid answers (at best) will be forthcoming when, and if, they do arrive. (See here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.)

Some may say the candidates can’t talk about the issue in an honest way because if they do they will be vilified and/or their life would be in danger. To which I would say: (1) then they cannot claim to be the standard bearers of leadership, courage, greatness, and truth, and (2) if they will not speak up now, then when?

It seems it is never a good time to “tell it like it is” when it comes to Muslims and the havoc even a small percentage can wreak upon others. Until our leaders will speak the truth, we will forever be at the losing end of this centuries-old fight.

Perhaps there is no better warning – persistently unheeded by the West – than the despairing Greek woman’s cry: “They have stolen our lives!”

US Volunteer Veterans To Fight ISIS

“Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit upon his hands, hoist the black flag and begin slitting throats” -H.L. Menchen

By Hamed Ghashghavi in Veterans Today

A group of US volunteers is headed to the Philippines on a contract to fight groups allied with the Islamic State. One counterinsurgency specialist wonders if their enthusiasm will make up for the lack of logistics, weapons and training. Those in the group have day jobs and regular lives but feel the need to help people endangered by militants who have pledged loyalty to the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), a group in southern Florida told RT’s Maria Finoshina.

They are led by Suleiman Yousef, a professional martial artist and firearms instructor who said he once trained with the mercenary outfit Blackwater. A Muslim himself, Yousef is no stranger to fighting Islamic militants. A tattoo on his neck proclaims, “Cut here.” “They’re hurting kids, they’re hurting innocent people,” he says.

“And they’re saying it’s in the name of Islam. It doesn’t work that way.”  Yousef and his teammates did not wish to reveal who hired them, but said they were paid “overhead.” Asked about their destination, he explains that the Philippines may not be in the headlines but that people there still had a problem with IS-affiliated fighters. “There’s always a bigger and badder person. Right now we’re going to be that bigger and badder person,” he says. “We need to do what we can with what we know, and do it for the greater good.” READ MORE: ‘They’ll be dead in a week’: Veterans question experience of ex-army anti-ISIS squad

Though the Florida group has access to customized infantry weapons, US Marine Corps veteran-turned-military-scholar Jake Diliberto told RT it was a bad idea for people to go off to fight the IS on their own. Americans who seek to fight terrorists overseas would be better off enlisting in the military, he said, or joining mercenary and contractor outfits the likes of Blackwater. “Those that choose to go independently actually have a tendency to create more havoc and more problems in the conflict zone than an organized military or defensive contracting company,” said Diliberto, a veteran of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Driven partly by empathy for the victims shown on the TV screens and partly by fear and anxiety that the violence taking place overseas could come home to America, Diliberto explained. “There is a need by some sort of more zealous, defensive Americans to protect their homeland against this kind of perceived threat,” he said. “For the most part, ISIS isn’t interested in attacking the US,” Diliberto added. “They are interested in Raqqa, they are interested in northern Iraq. They are not interested in coming to New York City or Topeka, Kansas.”

ISIS Must Expand Its Territory In Order To Survive

ISIS Libya

by Mark Hosenball | source, Business Insider

International investigators said on Friday that in order for the Islamic State to remain financially viable it would have to further expand territory it controls in Iraq and Syria and take over more resources.

The Paris-based Financial Action Task Force (FATF) said in a report that the Islamist group’s need for large amounts of money to govern areas it has conquered meant it was uncertain how long it could finance its current level of activity.

“In order to maintain its financial management and expenditures in areas where it operates, (Islamic State) must be able to seize additional territory in order to exploit resources,” it said.

The task force, which is made up of government officials from around the world who are combating money laundering, noted that the group had generated large amounts of money by appropriating oil fields and from criminal activity such as theft and extortion.

“Cutting off these vast revenue streams is both a challenge and opportunity for the global community to defeat this terrorist organization,” the report said.

Control of territory is an essential precondition for the Islamic State’s authority in the eyes of its supporters. This map, adapted from the work of the Institute for the Study of War, shows the territory under the caliphate’s control as of January 15, along with areas it has attacked. Where it holds power, the state collects taxes, regulates prices, operates courts, and administers services ranging from health care and education to telecommunications.

Degrading the group’s financial resources is one aspect of a campaign led by the United States to destroy Islamic State, ranging from military attacks to counter-propaganda.

The report said air strikes by the United States and its allies against Islamic State’s oil facilities as well as falling oil prices and the group’s own need for refined oil products had “significantly diminished” its revenues.

FATF said there was a “need to better identify the origin, middlemen, buyers, carriers, traders and routes through which oil produced in (Islamic State)-held territory is trafficked.”

The Politically Correct kid gloves are off – they’re not calling it workplace violence anymore .

NYPD: HATCHET ASSAULT WAS TERRORISM

Canadian Prime Minister calls ‘brutal and violent’ Parliament attack terrorism

In August, the king of Saudi Arabia warned us: ISIS will reach Europe in one month and the U.S. one month after that.

Attacks by Muslim extremist terrorists in North America are nothing new; they’ve been going on since at least February 26, 1993, when a truck bomb was detonated below the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. And of course the world’s most deadly and most spectacular terrorist attack happened at the same place on September 11, 2001. Since that time, however, a more sinister aspect of Muslim fundamentalism-inspired terror has developed: self-recruited jihadists.

The first self-recruited Muslim terrorists to go jihad in North America was John Allen Muhammad and his teenage sidekick Lee Boyd Malvo, the infamous DC Beltway Sniper team. Their string of killings actually began in Tacoma, Washington in February of 2002 and their final attacks were in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in September of 2002.

Left: DC Sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammed. Left: DC Sniper sidekick Lee Boyd Malvo

John Allen Muhammed was sentenced to death and executed in 2009; Malvo was sentenced to six consecutive live sentences with no chance of parole. Lee Boyd Malvo has spoken up recently: “I was sexually abused by John Allen Muhammad.”

My personal take on this is he may or may not have been a sexual plaything for Muhammed – it’s certainly within the realm of possibility – but what’s really going on is that Malvo has had twelve years to dwell on his horrific crimes and is desperately trying to find a sense of justification, so that he can live with himself and not go insane in solitary. Whatever. You’re a terrorist, Malvo, and we only spared you death because you were young and impressionable. But what you did was wrong and evil and you knew it at the time. Live in Hell for the rest of your life; that’s more than you allowed the innocents that you killed.

Then next significant self-recruited Muslim terrorist in North America was former Army Major Nadal Malik Hasan the Fort Hood shooter. For reasons of political correctness, the Holder Justice Department declared this “workplace violence”. Likewise the recent Oklahoma beheading attack, even though both incidents are clearly Islamic extremist-inspired terror attacks.

Left: Convicted murderer Nadal Makik Hasan. Right: Oklahoma beheading suspect Alton Nolan.

The two Boston Bombers were also self-radicalized:

Self-starters have also been active in the UK: the June 2005 bombings in London were perpetrated by British subjects who self-radicalized, as was the recent beheading of a British soldier in London.

Pundits and media talking heads will discuss these issues at length, try to analyze the why’s and wherefore’s, and what we can do to curb this phenomenon. That is what they do. The purpose of this blog post is to state that we are essentially under attack by terrorists that dwell among us. ISIS is here, just as the king of Saudi Arabia warned us they would be.

This is time to do a self-assessment of your personal security profile; at your home, your place of work, and your actions in between. Arm yourself appropriately, and seek personal security training. And from this point on, keep your head on a swivel, be prepared and have a plan for when – not if – the next deadly terrorist attack occurs.
