Sheriff of America’s Deadliest Police Force Caught on Camera Admitting Killing Suspects Is ‘Better Financially’

A recently discovered video of a California sheriff talking to law enforcement officers shows Kern County’s chief lawman explaining that killing citizens is better than wounding or injuring them because it costs less money and makes the family “go away.”

Although Kern County had a population of 875,000 people in 2015, its law enforcement officers were responsible for more deaths than any other county in America that year, according to the Guardian. During that year, Kern County deputies and Bakersfield, Calif., police killed 1.5 people for every 100,000 residents, more than three times the rate of Los Angeles County and 10 times the rate of the New York Police Department in 2015.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Department is led by Donny Youngblood, who has served as sheriff of the county for more than a decade. During his first campaign in 2006, Youngblood spoke to a group of police officers, telling the cops that shooting to kill was better financially for his department.

“You know what happens when a guy makes a bad shooting and somebody kills them?” Youngblood explained. “Three million bucks and the family goes away after a long back and forth.”

“When a deputy shoots someone in the streets, which way do you think is better financially—to cripple them or kill them—for the county?” Youngblood asked. When someone replied, “Kill them,” Youngblood responded, “Absolutely. Because if they’re crippled we get to take care of them for life. And that cost goes way up.”

The video was uploaded to Facebook by the Kern County Detention Officers Association on Monday and called for the sheriff to be replaced. The group told the Guardian that the full hour of video contains even more concerning quotes and said the group was “disgusted” by the video.

“But we have been disgusted with Donny Youngblood’s leadership for more than a decade,” said Chris Ashley, director of the KCDOA.

Youngblood is running for re-election against his chief deputy, Justin Fleeman, marking the first time that the sheriff has faced an opponent since taking office. Fleeman has been endorsed by all three unions of officers in Kern County’s Sheriff’s Department.

Shooting to kill is a tactic that has long been rumored to be a mantra of officers across the country. The “dead men tell no tales” philosophy is employed by cops because, frankly, it works.

In 2017, The Root examined over 10,000 cases between 2007 and 2017 and found only five incidents where police were convicted for on-duty killings.

During Youngblood’s time as sheriff, a Kern County deputy has never been charged with an on-duty police killing.

Sacramento Erupts After Stephon Clark Autopsy Report – Cops Run Over Protester (videos)

Former Sacramento Kings player Matt Barnes held a rally in honor of Clark Saturday. Black Lives Matter led a protest through downtown the night before.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Downtown Sacramento erupted in protests on Friday night after an independent autopsy revealed a young black father shot to death by police on March 18 was hit at least seven times in the back.

The march was organized by the Sacramento Black Lives Matter chapter for Friday night. Dr. Bennet Omalu had announced the results of Stephon Clark’s autopsy that morning: Clark, 22, was shot seven times in the back, including his neck; an eighth bullet hit his leg. He was unarmed.

“Each one of these bullets possessed a fatal capacity,” Omalu said.

The Sacramento Police Department hasn’t received an official autopsy from the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office and did not comment on Dr. Omalu’s report.

Protesters gathered at 8 p.m. on Friday night at Sacramento City Hall on I Street where, less than a week ago, Clark’s brother Stevante rushed the dais during a city council meeting in protest of his brother’s death.

The march started close to an hour later, with upward of 300 people marching until 1 a.m. through the streets of downtown and Old Town Sacramento, disrupting traffic, flooding local restaurants and facing off with Sacramento police on freeway entrances.

Clark’s funeral was held on Thursday. Hundreds of community members attended along with Reverend Al Sharpton.

“Every one of those shots that entered that black man’s body was fatal”

While heated, the protests remained peaceful with no reported injuries, arrests or conflicts.

…and then this happened

Black Lives Matter leaders encouraged protesters to “follow black women,” and members of the Sacramento activist group Incite Insight passed out bottled water and snacks to protesters, who marched for four hours.

One of the speakers grabbed the megaphone to remind protesters that Clark was not just “killed”:

“What we saw was overkill,” he said. “Every one of those shots that entered that black man’s body was fatal.”

Black Lives Matter Sacramento founder Tanya Faison opened and closed the march with the words of activist Assata Shakur:

“It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love and support one another. We have nothing to lose but our chains”.

Faison and BLM Sacramento organized three straight days of protests outside Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert’s office last week. Faison and other activists are calling to vote Schubert, a Trump supporter, out of office in this fall’s election.

Restaurant Patrons Fight Back Against Cop As He Savagely Beats Autistic Child

A Texas cop has been fired and is facing multiple charges after he snapped inside a barbecue restaurant and began beating up an innocent 12-year-old girl with autism.

Austin, TX — A Texas deputy has been fired and charged with multiple crimes after a nightmarish scene unfolded at a barbecue restaurant earlier this month. Restaurant patrons reacted first with shock and then with violence as deputy Jack Danford—unprovoked—attacked an innocent 12-year-old girl with autism as she reached down to pet a puppy.

According to court documents, Danford was in the restaurant the evening of March 3 and was bragging that he’d been drinking all day.

“It was about 7:30,” said Russell Cope, the victim’s stepdad. Cope was at the restaurant to deliver firewood that night and had brought along his girlfriend and her 12-year-old daughter Megan.

Cope explained that he had also brought along their puppy and when Megan bent down to pet the little dog, that’s when Danford, who was sitting at a nearby table outside, snapped.

“I seen him on top of her, he was hammer fisting her, it was like UFC style,” Cope said.

When the punching began, bystanders were in awe and couldn’t believe what they were witnessing. However, their fight or flight mode quickly kicked in and restaurant patrons then began trying to pry Danford off the little girl.

“Two witnesses tried to pull him off of the girl. It didn’t work,” Cope explained.

After trying to pull him off didn’t work, Cope said he began punching the crazed cop in the face, but that didn’t work either.

As FOX 26 reports, Cope ran to the patio and attempted to punch Danford in the face, but he told police it didn’t phase the former deputy. That’s when Cope kicked Danford with his steel-toed boot in the head and Danford finally rolled off the victim and appeared unconscious, according to court documents.

“I stepped back and I kicked him in the head with my boot and knocked him out,” Danford said.

After Cope and the other patrons finally got the deputy off the little girl she was brought to the hospital where she was treated for multiple cuts, bruises and abrasions and a pulled muscle.

“I was like screaming, and saying help and all that,” said the victim.

Cope explained to FOX 19 that the girl is now emotionally traumatized and is scared to be by herself or even go out in public.

“Every time we go out to eat somewhere else, she won’t go get food without somebody going with her. She won’t go to the restroom without someone going with her,” Cope explained.

Once they got the girl away from Danford, things got even more violent once police showed up to arrest the crazed cop.

According to court documents, as FOX 7 notes, the Austin police officers found Danford sitting on the ground, with a strong odor of alcohol, claiming to be drugged. When the officers tried to get Danford’s ID from his back pocket, he allegedly grabbed an officer’s wrist, and they fell to the ground. To break free, the officers said they had to punch Danford in the back and use an impact weapon.

Prior to being arrested for beating the little girl, Danford was charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest during the altercation after the beating. He was fired by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department earlier this month and subsequently charged with Injury to a Child, a third-degree felony after the police investigation revealed the insane beating that took place prior to officers showing up on the scene.

If convicted of the charges, Danford faces no less than two years behind bars and the possibility of up to ten.

TSA Sued For Beating Deaf, Partially Blind Teen Recovering from Brain Surgery

Disabled girl spends night in jail after being bloodied by TSA agents

A teen just released from brain surgery was beaten by TSA agents inside the Memphis Airport last year, a recent lawsuit alleges.

The TSA is listed as a defendant in a suit accusing them of injuring a mentally disabled teen after she was unable to understand or comply with orders at a security checkpoint.

Newly surfaced photos show the aftermath of the June 30, 2015 incident, in which agents roughed up 19-year-old Hannah Cohen leaving her bloodied and bruised.

“They wanted to do further scanning; she was reluctant. She didn’t understand what they were about to do,” her mother Shirley Cohen told WREG.

The lawsuit claims before Hannah had brain tumor surgery at St. Jude’s hospital, she already had “a physical and mental impairment that substantially limit one or more of her life activities.”

“More particularly,” the lawsuit continues, “[Hannah] has damage from radiation and removal of a brain tumor that substantially limits her ability to speak, walk, stand, see, hear, care for herself, learn and work, think, concentrate, and interact with others.”

“This substantial limitation is obvious upon sight and was obvious” on the day of the incident, the lawsuit filed in US District Court states.

“She’s trying to get away from them,” Hannah’s mother described, “but in the next instant, one of them had her down on the ground and hit her head on the floor. And I looked and there’s blood everywhere.”

All the while Shirley was kept from being able to help her daughter, causing her “extreme emotional injury as she watched the personnel assault her daughter,” according to court documents obtained by Infowars.

The Memphis International Airport Police Department is also included as a defendant in the suit for “arresting her for no cause.”

“Hannah was arrested, booked and on the night she should have been celebrating the end of her treatment, she was locked up in Jail East,” reports WREG.

“Here we were with nowhere to go, not even a toothbrush, our bags had gone to Chattanooga,” Shirley said.

The Cohens’ are asking for $100,000 in damages.
