Trump: “I’m Afraid The Election Is Going To Be Rigged”

Single Most Important Issue Leading Up To November 8th

Following Trump confidant Roger Stone’s allegation that Hillary Clinton might “steal this election” using the Supreme Court, and the Reuters’ poll “tweaks” which sent her to a 7-point lead, Donald Trump is raising the alarm that he “is afraid the election is going to be rigged.”

Just last week, before the Reuters polls were ‘tweaked’, Stone told Milo Yiannopoulous of Breitbart that if there is an “illegitimate” election, then there will be “widespread civil disobedience” and “it will be a bloodbath.”

“I think your audience knows, I think we all know, that in this day and age, a computer can do anything. These voter machines are essentially a computer. Who is to say they could not be rigged?”

“I think we have widespread voter fraud, but the first thing that Trump needs to do is begin talking about it constantly,” Stone said.

“He needs to say for example, today would be a perfect example: “I am leading in Florida. The polls all show it. If I lose Florida, we will know that there’s voter fraud. If there’s voter fraud, this election will be illegitimate, the election of the winner will be illegitimate, we will have a constitutional crisis, widespread civil disobedience, and the government will no longer be the government.”

“So, I mean the dream here, the ultimate ideal is that he wins by such a significant margin nationally that this is unnecessary,” Yiannopoulos concluded. “But it’s interesting to hear you say this, and it’s funny also, because Trump will go there. He will go to the places other politicians wont, and he’s probably the only person to run for president within the last fifty years who would dare to do this, and might even get away with it. It’s remarkable isn’t it how he’s just sort of re-injected reality into politics”.

And now Donald Trump, speaking today in Columbus, Ohio, raised the concern of a rigged election directly… “Bernie shouldn’t have made a deal but he lost [because] it’s rigged… and I am afraid the [national] election is going to be rigged.”

“I think my side was rigged. If I didn’t win by massive landslides, think about what we won in New York, Indiana, California, 78 percent, that’s with other people in the race.”

Trump made similar complaints about a “rigged” process during the Republican primaries. As Roger Stone concluded,

“If you can’t have an honest election, nothing else counts,”

Warning that…

“I think he’s gotta put them on notice that their inauguration will be rhetorical, and when I mean civil disobedience, not violence, but it will be a bloodbath. The government will be shut down if they attempt to steal this and swear Hillary in. No, we will not stand for it. We will not stand for it.”

Just in case you thought things could not get any more obvious among the riggers, does this look ‘normal’?

July 25: Trump was at 48%, Clinton at 45% in CNN/ORC poll.

Today: Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump 52% to 43% in CNN/ORC poll.

Perhaps the biggest swing in a week in US election history?

Federal Election Commission Refuses to Release Computer Security Flaws Study

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) is refusing to release an internal study of its vulnerable computer network, which Chinese hackers infiltrated two years ago.

The Center for Public Integrity, which revealed the hacking from October 2013, filed a Freedom of Information Act request to see a nearly $200,000 study performed by an outside company, SD Solutions, but the FEC rejected the request. That study reportedly discusses the security flaws in the FEC computer network and provides recommendations for fixing them.

FEC Chairwoman Ann Ravel told the center it would not publish the study because “the concern is that it contains information that details potential vulnerabilities.”

The agency is moving forward with fixing its computer problems. The center learned that commissioners moved last month to hire an outside firm to implement the study’s recommendations, but the agency has not yet decided whom to hire. The FEC has approved spending about $400,000 on the upgrades.

The Chinese cyber attack reportedly crippled the commission’s systems that inform the public about the billions of dollars raised and spent each election cycle by candidates, parties and political action committees.

Before the attack, other audits had raised concerns about the FEC’s computer system. “Without adopting and implementing National Institute of Science and Technology minimum security controls, the FEC’s computer network, data and information is at an increased risk of loss, theft, manipulation, [and] interruption of operations,” according to contractor Leon Snead & Co.’s 2012 report. The FEC’s response was that its “systems are secure.”

‘Calibration issue’ in Maryland voting machines switches GOP picks to Democrat

BUSTED? Voting machines in Maryland are moving Republican votes to the Democrats’ column. By Jessica Chasmar

A calibration issue in multiple Maryland voting machines is reportedly switching voters’ picks from Republican to Democrat.

“When I first selected my candidate on the electronic machine, it would not put the ‘x’ on the candidate I chose – a Republican – but it would put the ‘x’ on the Democrat candidate above it,” said Donna Hamilton, who voted at the Frederick County Center, Watchdog.org reported.

“This happened multiple times with multiple selections. Every time my choice flipped from Republican to Democrat. Sometimes it required four or five tries to get the ‘x’ to stay on my real selection,” she said.

Miss Hamilton said she notified officials of the problem. “I’m not sure what was done about it. If someone is not paying close attention, they could end up voting for the wrong candidate,” she told Watchdog.org.

Queen Anne’s County Sheriff Gary Hofmann, a Republican, said the same thing happened to him when he voted early in Queen Anne’s County.

“This is happening here as well. It occurred on two candidates on my machine. I am glad I checked. Many voters have reported this here as well,” he told Watchdog.org.

Two other Maryland voters reported the same issue Friday in Anne Arundel County. A Diebold touchscreen voting machine switched their Republican votes to Democrats, Watchdog.org reported.

Joe Torre, election director in Anne Arundel, called it a “calibration issue” involving a single machine, Watchdog.org reported.

A similar issue was reported in a Chicago-area voting machine last week, as a Republican candidate for the Illinois state legislature tried to vote for himself and ended up selecting his Democratic opponent.

“While early voting at the Schaumburg Public Library today, I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” Jim Moynihan said in a blog he linked to on Twitter. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”

He said he also tried to vote for fellow Republican Larry Kaifesh in the 8th Congressional District race, but the vote was again cast for the Democratic opponent, U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth. Mr. Moynihan said he brought the error to the attention of a judge, who determined the machine hadn’t been calibrated correctly.

Jim Scalzitti, deputy communications director for the Cook County clerk’s office, said the machine in question was removed from service to be re-calibrated immediately and that there were no other reports of voters having similar problems.

Mr. Moynihan was eventually able to cast the correct votes.
