PBS Caught Making Propaganda Film For The CCP

Taxpayer-Funded PBS Stations Caught Working with China on Chinese Propaganda Film PBS affiliates receiving millions of dollars in federal funds every year

Several taxpayer-funded PBS stations have been caught working with a Chinese agent to produce a pro-China propaganda film for the ruling Communist Party. The PBS affiliates receive millions of dollars in federal funding every year. However, the stations are airing a pro-Beijing documentary produced in conjunction with CGTN, a Chinese-government controlled media outlet.CGTN is registered as a foreign agent with the Department of Justice.

The film, entitled “Voices from the Frontline: China’s War on Poverty,” does not disclose CGTN’s links to the Chinese Communist Party. The film’s producer, Robert Lawrence Kuhn, also has ties to Chinese officials and the government’s foreign propaganda wing, State Council Information Office – a detail which is also not disclosed.

Chinese Purchase Large Mexican Radio Station Near US Border

https://i1.wp.com/www.americanpartisan.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/phenix_TV.jpg?resize=310%2C163

The Chinese government has purchased a large radio station just south of California with the intent of pushing propaganda. According to the Washington Free Beacon, the US government is looking into the potential US issues with the sale. Having a broad reach into southern California, the station will be broadcasting pro-Beijing propaganda. Pushing over 77,000 watts, the station will have an incredibly far reach.

https://i2.wp.com/www.americanpartisan.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/phenix_TV2.jpg?w=322

Phoenix TV has been identified by U.S. intelligence agencies as a major overseas outlet used to spread propaganda and promote the policies of the communist government in Beijing. The Hong Kong television station also has close ties to China’s intelligence service and military.

While under investigation by the FCC, don’t expect any action to block this measure. Although located in Mexico most of its broadcast area is in the US, giving a certain level of jurisdiction but taking into consideration the level of influence the Chinese have with many sitting US Democrat politicians, including the recently exposed staffers for Senator Dianne Feinstein, the Chinese will get what they want. The Chinese have rapidly expanded their influence into South and Central America, and this is one more piece of a larger, more ominous picture.

Why would China be placing propaganda transmitters right off our border? It doesn’t take much to figure it out. They have designs on the US’ west coast. If you’ve slacked off on training, just remember others out there haven’t. The threats are real and that day is coming.

Deep State Media Propaganda Machine Takes Another Hit

Yesterday Brian Ross, Today Ali Watkins – New York Times Moves “Reporter #2” of Of Washington DC…

The executive suite corporate media are making moves of journalists who all circle around the recently indicted senate intelligence committee staffer James Wolfe. The motivation for the moves is transparent.

James Wolfe has pleaded not guilty. A trial seems likely. It is virtually guaranteed that many, if not all, of James Wolfe’s media contacts will become part of the trial record if he takes his defense all the way to criminal court without coping a plea deal. That means there are potentially dozens of reporters, and corporate media outlets, who might find themselves -and their contacts with Wolfe- in the headlines as part of the evidence.

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/james-a-wolfe-3.jpg

Anticipating this possibility, yesterday Brian Ross departed ABC and today the New York Times begins dealing with deep throat journalist Ali Watkins.

(Via NYT) The New York Times demoted a reporter who acknowledged a romantic relationship with a Senate staffer who is suspected of leaking information to journalists.

Times editor Dean Baquet said Tuesday he would reassign the reporter, Ali Watkins, from the paper’s Washington bureau to New York in the wake of revelations that she had been involved with James Wolfe, the former head of security for the Senate Intelligence Committee. Watkins covered the committee for a number of publications, although not the Times.

Interestingly, the Times is upset with Watkins not revealing the executed search warrant that seized her records.

A secondary issue for the Times was Watkins’s failure to tell her editors for nearly four months that federal prosecutors had seized her records as part of their investigation. The Department of Justice notified Watkins in February that her records were part of the investigation, but she withheld this highly unusual — and newsworthy — information on the advice of her attorney until early June.  (read more)

Here again the reasoning is simple. The indictment against Wolfe was sealed until June 7th, 2018. The feds nailed Wolfe on December 15th, 2017. Everything happening between December 15th and June 7th is six months of the FBI hunting leakers and connecting leaks to journalists.

Ms. Ali Watkins, was identified and an appropriate search warrant was authorized by the court.  Ms. Watkins was notified February 13, 2018.  [Document link]  No doubt part of that notification included her agreement, based on conversation with her lawyers, to keep quiet while the FBI continued the investigation; OR Ms. Watkins could be charged with interference and easily go from being a “subject in” to “the target of” an investigation…

https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/warrant-ali-watkins-feb-13.jpg

Key word is “notified” on February 13th, 2018.  While it is difficult to gain a search and seizure warrant on a journalist, it is noted a judge authorized a very extensive search warrant against “Reporter #2”.  Cited statute  HERE and HERE

Why is the New York Times apoplectic about not being notified?  Because Ms. Ali Watkins was essentially a legal surveillance virus infecting all of her contacts at the newspaper for a period of four months.  All of her electronic communication was at risk of being monitored; including all of the contacts and instructions she was getting from her bosses at the New York Times HQ.

D’oh.

Facebook Ministry Of Truth Chief Security Officer Quits Over “Spread Of Disinformation”

Less than six months after exclaiming his concerns about algorithmic censorship on social media, and fears about becoming a ‘ministry of truth’, Alex Stamos – Facebook’s chief information security officer – is leaving the tech giant following “internal disagreements” over how the company should handle disinformation spread over its platform, according to the New York Times.

https://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/inline-images/20171008_stamos_0.jpg?itok=N90-Rdbs

His departure was reportedly planned long before the Cambridge Analytica scandal erupted over the weekend.

Stamos famously unleashed a scathing tweet storm late last year warning the FBI and intrusive Democratic lawmakers (who are again banging the regulation drum) that “censorship is easy”, but separating Russian bots from legitimate posters would be much, much harder, and essentially would require Facebook or the government to become a “Ministry of Truth” – referring to a government ministry from George Orwell’s 1984 responsible for rewriting history.

“It’s very difficult to spot fake news and propaganda using just computer programs,” Stamos said in a series of Twitter posts on Saturday.

“Nobody of substance at the big companies thinks of algorithms as neutral,” Stamos wrote, adding that the media is simplifying the matter.

“Nobody is not aware of the risks.”

So if you don’t worry about becoming the Ministry of Truth with ML systems trained on your personal biases, then it’s easy!

Stamos, according to the NYT, had reportedly clashed with other senior executives over how the company should handle disclosures of “Russian interference” on its platform. Stamos called for more transparency and disclosure.

https://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/inline-images/zuckerberg_0.png?itok=ldPcQ8NG

His repeated conflicts led to his day-to-day responsibilities being reassigned late last year in preparation for his departure – which wasn’t expected to happen until August.

After his day-to-day responsibilities were reassigned to others in December, Mr. Stamos said he would leave the company. He was persuaded to stay through August to oversee the transition of his duties because executives thought his departure would look bad, the current and former employees said. He has been overseeing the transfer of his security team to Facebook’s product and infrastructure divisions. His group, which once had 120 people, now has three, the current and former employees said.

Stamos is the first senior employee to leave the company since the controversy surrounding the purported $100,000 in fraudulent ad spending by a “Russian troll farm” was first publicly confirmed in September.

Facebook shares, which entered correction territory during Monday’s session, were down 1% after hours, back at the lows of the day…

US Military Establishment Study Admits American Empire Is “Collapsing”

A new study conducted by members of the U.S. military establishment has concluded that the U.S.-led international global order established after World War II is “fraying” and may even be “collapsing” as the U.S. continues to lose its position of “primacy” in world affairs.

“In brief, the status quo that was hatched and nurtured by U.S. strategists after World War II and has for decades been the principal ‘beat’ for DoD is not merely fraying but may, in fact, be collapsing,” the report states.

The report, published in June by the U.S. Army War College’s Strategic Studies Institute, evaluated the Department of Defense’s (DOD) approach to risk assessment at all levels of Pentagon policy planning. The study was supported and sponsored by the U.S. Army’s Strategic Plans and Policy Directorate; the Joint Staff, J5 (Strategy and Policy Branch); the Office of the Deputy Secretary of Defense for Strategy and Force Development; and the Army Study Program Management Office.

Imperial hubris

As explained by Nathan Freier, the project director and principal author of the report, the U.S. and its defense establishment “are stumbling through a period of hypercompetition.” From Freier’s point of view, the current era is marred with furious battles for positional advantage at a number of levels, whether national, transnational, or extra-national. Freier explains that America’s failure to cope is the result of “hubris,” which is reminiscent of Imperial Hubris, a book by Michael Scheuer, the former head of the CIA’s bin Laden unit. Imperial Hubris also warned the U.S. about the very controversial and hubristic reasons it was losing the war on terror (hubris means exaggerated pride or self-confidence,” according to Merriam-Webster).

Technically, the report does not officially represent the Pentagon, though it does represent the “collective wisdom” of those consulted – including a number of Pentagon officials and prominent think tanks such as the American Enterprise Institute, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the RAND Corporation, and the Institute for the Study of War.

Nevertheless, the report involved consultation with key agencies across the DoD and the Armed Forces and encouraged the U.S. government to invest more heavily in surveillance, better propaganda through “strategic manipulation” of public opinion, and a “wider and more flexible” U.S. military. The report states:

“While as a rule, U.S. leaders of both political parties have consistently committed to the maintenance of U.S. military superiority over all potential state rivals, the post-primacy reality demands a wider and more flexible military force that can generate advantage and options across the broadest possible range of military demands. To U.S. political leadership, maintenance of military advantage preserves maximum freedom of action… Finally, it allows U.S. decision-makers the opportunity to dictate or hold significant sway over outcomes in international disputes in the shadow of significant U.S. military capability and the implied promise of unacceptable consequences in the event that capability is unleashed.”

The year-long study concluded that the DoD should discard its outdated risk conventions and change how it describes, identifies, assesses, and communicates strategic-level and risk-based choices. As investigative journalist Nafeez Ahmed observed, these are the very strategies that have led to the U.S.’ declining power in the first place. Further enacting these failed strategies will only exacerbate the problem and demonstrates America’s refusal to go down without a fight.

The blame lies with resistant states

According to Freier and his team, the dangers currently challenging the U.S. don’t just come from countries like Russia and China (and even North Korea and Iran), but also from the increasing risk of “Arab Spring”-style events that could potentially erupt all over the world. One might wonder, then, why the U.S. decided to support a number of these events, even to the great benefit of known jihadist movements that already existed within them.

Ahmed also astutely points out that the report doesn’t actually substantiate its claims that countries like Russia are a genuine threat to America’s national security, aside from the fact that these countries seek to pursue their own core interests – as most countries should be free to do (within reason).

According to the report, Iran and North Korea are “… neither the products of, nor are they satisfied with, the contemporary order… At a minimum, they intend to destroy the reach of the U.S.-led order into what they perceive to be their legitimate sphere of influence. They are also resolved to replace that order locally with a new rule set dictated by them.”

It is notable that the report does not list Iran and North Korea as nuclear threats — as traditional neoconservative propaganda often asserts — but simply as perceived threats to the American-led world order.

The report also found that the international framework has been restructured in ways that are “inhospitable” and often “hostile” to U.S. leadership. For example, proliferation, diversification, and atomization of effective counter-U.S. resistance,” as well as “resurgent but transformed great power competition” are seen to be at the heart of this new international restructuring. According to the report, the U.S. is not prepared for these circumstances, and the report seeks to provide the U.S. with guidance to deal with these emerging scenarios.

In all seriousness, hostility to the U.S. military did not develop in a vacuum – it is quite clearly the sheer arrogance of America’s leadership and its incessant meddling in foreign affairs that have created a number of adversaries who are no longer willing to bow to American interests.

Losing the propaganda war

Renegade Inc’s Nafeez Ahmed also notes that the “hyper-connectivity and weaponization of information, disinformation, and disaffection”, the study team observes, is leading to the uncontrolled spread of information. The upshot is that the Pentagon faces the “inevitable elimination of secrecy and operational security”.

“Wide uncontrolled access to technology that most now take for granted is rapidly undermining prior advantages of discrete, secret, or covert intentions, actions, or operations… In the end, senior defense leaders should assume that all defense-related activity from minor tactical movements to major military operations would occur completely in the open from this point forward.”

This information revolution, in turn, is leading to the “generalized disintegration of traditional authority structures… fueled, and/or accelerated by hyperconnectivity and the obvious decay and potential failure of the post-Cold War status quo.”

Bad facts

Among the most dangerous drivers of the risk of civil unrest and mass destabilization, the document asserts, are different categories of fact. Apart from the obvious “fact-free”, defined as information that undermines “objective truth”, the other categories include actual truths that, however, are damaging to America’s global reputation.

“Fact-inconvenient” information consists of the exposure of “details that, by implication, undermine legitimate authority and erode the relationships between governments and the governed”?—?facts, for instance, that reveal how government policy is corrupt, incompetent or undemocratic.

“Fact-perilous” information refers basically to national security leaks from whistleblowers such as Edward Snowden or Bradley Manning, “exposing highly classified, sensitive, or proprietary information that can be used to accelerate a real loss of tactical, operational, or strategic advantage.”

“Fact-toxic” information pertains to actual truths which, the document complains, are “exposed in the absence of context”, and therefore poison “important political discourse.” Such information is seen as being most potent in triggering outbreaks of civil unrest, because it:

“… fatally weakens foundational security at an international, regional, national, or personal level. Indeed, fact-toxic exposures are those likeliest to trigger viral or contagious insecurity across or within borders and between or among peoples.”

In short, the US Army War College study team believe that the spread of ‘facts’ challenging the legitimacy of American empire is a major driver of its decline: not the actual behavior of the empire which such facts point to.

The “wake up call”

Though the report throws the word “adapt” around often, the U.S. is clearly not willing to adapt at all if the only way it can deal with its issues is to strengthen the very sources of said issues in the first place. If the only tool the U.S. has is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail. The more problems the U.S. faces, the more nails it sees in need of quashing.

While some may laud a report in which advisors to the U.S. have acknowledged America’s status as a dying power, the truth, as demonstrated in this recent analysis, is that the U.S. will not give up its place in global affairs without a fight.

As the report states, the reality of this looming collapse should not be seen as defeatism, but rather, should be a “wake up call.”

Take the Syrian conflict, for example. The more places Assad’s military liberates, the more refugees are returning home and the more concerts are being held. Syria, Russia, and Iran have achieved these mounting successes even in the face of direct American intervention – and yet the U.S. still refuses to leave the country. Irrespective of crimes committed by the pro-Assad axis, if the ultimate objective has been to reduce the suffering in Syria and end the war, the U.S. should admit defeat and move on — especially once ISIS’ caliphate collapses entirely. But the U.S. won’t – and is reportedly considering greater involvement in the war-torn country.

The U.S. knows it is on the brink of collapse but refuses to go down peacefully. From the point of view of the powers-that-be, as long as every nail of resistance can be broken, the American hammer will continue to lead the world in international affairs. But even as this report indicates, it is precisely because of America’s hubris that it has found itself in this position in the first place. In this context, the report is somewhat contradictory and only further encourages the United States to provoke further hostility from aggrieved players on the world stage.

Carrying on these practices and exacerbating them is totally nonsensical, but doing so continues to be the go-to mantra of the U.S. war machine.

Democrat Party Propaganda Group Shareblue Has Ties To A Host Of Foreign Special Interests

https://s17-us2.ixquick.com/cgi-bin/serveimage?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffreebeacon.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F02%2FDavid-Brock.jpg&sp=37c31328827cb7b85ce47c4b8828922c

As the American press has shone a spotlight upon alleged Russian involvement both in the U.S. presidential election and its aftermath, Disobedient Media has identified a number of foreign public and private sector groups using DNC operations to peddle influence in American politics. An investigation into a shadowy world of shell companies and chains of influence stretching all over the globe has revealed that Democratic propaganda figure David Brock’s organization Shareblue appears to be a apparent front group being used by a number of Chinese, Middle Eastern, British, Israeli, Mexican and American special interests to spread anti-Trump and anti-democratic rhetoric both during the presidential election as well as in its aftermath.

David Brock is a one-time Republican turned Democrat operative once labeled by Time Magazine as one of the most influential players in the DNC. Brock has a long history working for the Democrat Party in media promotion and propaganda, starting with his organization Media Matters. During the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Brock ran the group Correct the Record, which paid an army of online trolls to “harass, censor Trump supporters and spread their own propaganda” across various forums and social media outlets online. In the aftermath of the election, Brock has returned to continue to fight an information war online, armed a $40 million budget and a renewed will to resist President Donald Trump. The group, Shareblue, continues the same tactics used by Brock’s past organizations and has been criticized by fellow Democrats as harming more than helping due to its reliance upon online harassment and censorship. An investigation into the corporate paper trail behind Shareblue reveals what is likely the true reason for concern among DNC members: Shareblue appears to be supported by a raft of foreign interests in China, Britain, Israel and various Middle Eastern entities to interfere in American politics.

I. Shareblue’s Parent Company Is Partially Owned By Group With Ties To Chinese Tycoon Ke Xiping And The Chinese Government

Shareblue’s website was registered by their Chief Operating Officer Joshua Nerpel on behalf of True Blue Media LLC. True Blue Media LLC is owned by David Brock and was used to purchase Shareblue’s political commentary platform when it was known as Blue Nation Review. Blue Nation Review had previously been used during the Democratic primary as a way for paid trolls working for Hillary Clinton’s campaign to target Bernie Sanders supporters online and was described as having an extreme left bias.

A. The Holding Company Which Owned Blue Nation Review Retains A 20% Stake In Shareblue, Board Members Include Figures in Australian Mining Industry With Deep Ties To China

Brock purchased an 80% stake in Blue Nation Review from Moko Social Media Ltd., who retained a 20% equity stake. Moko Social Media Ltd. is a holding company located in Arlington, VA. Oddly for a social media company, Moko Social Media’s Board of Directors includes “Non Executive Chairman” by the name of Malcolm Raymond Scott James, an Australian mining project manager. Mr. James serves as Non Executive Finance Director at Eureka Mining PLC, a mining group located in the City of London. Since 2002, James has also acted as an Executive Director at Tianshan Goldfields Ltd. (????). Tianshan Goldfields is registered in Australia holding various exploration projects in China. Its largest asset was the Gold Mountain Project located in the Tian Shan Gold Belt in Xinjiang, China. Gold Mountain (Jinshan), in Mandarin, is a commonly used Chinese nickname historically for the western region of North America, specifically California due to the state’s historic gold rush.

As outlined by the Department of State in their 2016 Investment Climate Statement on China, foreign companies seeking to gain entry to industries designated “restricted” by the Chinese government must create a joint venture with a Chinese partner. China’s ostensible goal of this restrictive Foreign Investment Catalogue is to protect sensitive industries that the government hopes to shield from foreign exploitation. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce’s Catalogue for the Guidance of Foreign Investment Industries, last updated in 2015, lists the exploration and mining of gold as a Restricted Foreign Investment Industry. To enter a restricted industry sector, a foreign firm must undergo a permit application process prone to corrupt abuses and share a minority stake with a domestic corporation which often is chosen because of its close ties to the Chinese government.

The Xinjiang Province of China has for years been beset by ethnic violence and Islamic terrorism, with attacks reported by the South China Morning Post as recently as February 2017. The area is heavily regulated by Chinese government authorities. Foreigners are seldom inclined to seek access to the region and foreign investments are seldom realized due to the unrest as well as Xinjiang’s lack of ocean access. The mining industry in particular has been made a target in large scale terror attacks.

B. Tianshan Goldfields Engaged In An Apparent Cash Transfer Scheme With The Chinese Government Disguised As A Mining Project

Tianshan Goldfields Ltd.’s entry to the volatile marketplace was a strange choice in a country with many more secure operations to offer an investing firm ostensibly seeking to maximize profit and minimize risk. Their Chinese business partner raises questions about the incentive to grant the company access to a restricted industry sector in China given Malcolm James’ ties to the holding company that managed Blue Nation Review and continues to hold a 20% stake in Shareblue.

Tianshan Goldfield’s partner holding 10% in the Gold Mountain project was revealed in Tianshan’s mining permit approval obtained by mining website 24hGold to be a Chinese mining organization called Xinjiang Gold Mountain Mining Co., Ltd. Xinjiang Gold Mountain Mining, in turn, is held entirely by Hengxing Gold Holding Company Ltd., a shell company registered in the Cayman Islands in an apparent attempt to conceal Xinjiang Gold Mountain’s true owner. Hengxing Gold’s List of Directors shows that the company’s Chairman is Ke Xiping, a Chinese billionaire from Xiamen, China whose Xiamen Hengxing Group Co., Ltd. holds a diverse range of assets in the construction material, auto parts, electronics, transportation, dairy, real estate and mining sectors.

https://i2.wp.com/disobedientmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Screen-Shot-2017-02-26-at-2.23.47-AM-1024x624.png

Even stranger, Tianshan almost immediately sold off their coveted holding in the restricted sector project to Sino Hydro, a Hong Kong holding group of Chinese state owned corporation PowerChina. PowerChina’s holdings are commonly used by the Chinese government as a means of economic diplomacy, and were involved in an economic deal struck with Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte in October 2016. Immediately after the sale to Sino Hydro, Tianshan Goldfields was merged with Australian firm Corvette Resources flush with cash from the sale but with almost no other holdings in actual mining projects. The sale and immediate merger indicates that Tianshan’s ventures in Xinjiang were intended to disguise a large cash transfer from the Chinese government in return for influence in Shareblue.

The involvement of Mr. Ke in the Gold Mountain Project, and the steps taken to conceal his involvement in it raise questions about the true nature of Hengxing’s dealings with a group whose executive had deep ties to Shareblue. The immediate sale of the entire project to a Chinese state run enterprise and Tianshan’s merger into another Australian firm indicates that the group’s involvement with the Gold Mountain Project may have been a well disguised agreement to peddle influence in Shareblue in return for financial reimbursement.

II. Shareblue COO And Website Registrant Has Ties To Organization Used By British, Arab, Israeli Special Interests As Well As The Clinton Foundation

Following the various connections of Shareblue employees leads to a global chase wading through a number of other “charitable” Foundations and front companies being used as vessels to maintain lines of communication between global players hoping to pull strings and use Brock’s propaganda to influence the minds of American voters. Many of the individuals involved with Shareblue have troubling histories as corporate lobbyists and consultants for a large list of special interest groups, raising questions about the various sources of influence pulling strings in the Democratic propaganda machine.

A. True Blue Media CEO Peter Daou Was An Advisor To Hillary Clinton, The Clinton Foundation And Other Special Interest, DNC Figures

Peter Daou is the CEO of Shareblue’s holding company, True Blue Media LLC and played an integral role in the site’s transformation from True Blue Media to Shareblue. Mr. Daou was a former advisor to Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and former Senator Arlen Specter. His website reveals that he has also advised the Clinton Foundation, the now shuttered Clinton Global Initiative, the U.S. Department of Energy, the United Nations Foundation, Microsoft, Intel, AARP, Inc., Action Against Hunger, PR Newswire and Bloomberg Philanthropies, two news organizations which both have close ties to the City of London-based UBM plc.

Lastly, Mr. Daou has played an advisory role for OneVoice International, an “international grassroots movement that amplifies the voice of mainstream Israelis and Palestinians, empowering them to propel their elected representatives toward the two-state solution.” OneVoice’s partners include an impressive list of global special interests including the Association of British Muslims, the UK Conservative Party, Google, Crown Family Philanthropies, the European Commission (part of the European Union), High Atlas Foundation, the UK Labour Party, the Rayne Foundation and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. Peter Daou’s involvement with OneVoice creates a very apparent conflict of interest given the massive number of foreign interests who are affiliated with the organization.

B. OneVoice Is An Affiliate Of The PeaceWorks Foundation, With Ties To Mexico, Israel, Saudi Arabia, The City Of London And Other Foreign States

OneVoice is a part of the PeaceWorks Foundation, founded by Mexican-American billionaire Daniel Lubetzky and run with business associates Alon Kastiel, Uri Weiss and S. Daniel Abraham. Mr. Lubetzky is the founder and CEO of KIND SnacksIsraeli newspaper Israel Hayom has stated that the PeaceWorks Foundation maintains branches in Tel Aviv, Israel, Ramallah, Palestine and London, England. PeaceWork’s website mentions that the Foundation does business with Israelis, Palestinians, Egyptians, Australians, Turks, Indonesians and Sri Lankans.

The wide range of foreign connections and interests associated with PeaceWorks indicates additional conflicts of interest given the apparent presence of intermediary figures such as Peter Daou in leadership positions at Shareblue and its holding company. The large number of foreign political parties, special interests and foundations associated with PeaceWorks and OneVoice raise serious concerns about their influence within Shareblue and how that influence might be affecting decision making processes in the group. David Brock’s various propaganda machines are by nature already problematic. With the revelations that Chinese moguls, state run enterprises and Foundations with deep ties to the financial world of London, Israel, Saudi Arabia and a number of other players have ties to Shareblue and its affiliated companies, Brock, Daou and others in the propaganda group could be in violation of the Foreign Agent Registration Act for failing to declare their roles as actors working on behalf of foreign principals. The large number of foreign interest groups connected to Brock and other officers in positions of control indicate that, far from being an organization that promotes liberal ideals, Shareblue exists as an outlet for political interests to subvert democratic institutions in America and hijack liberalism to promote the interests those who wish to take advantage of American citizens.
