This Is Not Your Government

Paying taxes?  To what?  For what?  Simply to stay out of jail and for no other reason?

https://westernrifleshooters.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/pls-sir-may-i-have-another.jpg?w=500

This is not your government. Those who live in the United States do so out of convenience, it is where their house is, their apartment, etc., but they do not live under the authority of the United States Government, because that does not exist.  Those who reside within the borders of the United States live under a despotic rule of Supreme Court justices, regulators, random judges, presidential decree and Fed policy.

There is no politician in the land responsive to the people.  This is how Donald Trump gained the Republican nomination, because folks were fed up with calling their congressperson seeking redress only to be sold out as soon as the votes were counted.  US citizens are not constituents in the normal vernacular, they are simply voters, you know, those folks who come around every two to four years and validate all of the larceny that has taken place in the past two to four years.

The trouble with voters is they don’t have to be citizens (oh, technically yes, but realistically, NO).  They don’t have to pay taxes.  They don’t have to actually live in the United States, all they have to do is vote. If you do not vote the right way, the politicians can import other voters from, say, Mexico, Syria, etc and they will vote the way the politicians want.  Why don’t Republicans put their political lives on the line to build the wall at the border?  Because if these Mexican voters vote for Hillary, they will be voting for the same sorts of things the Republican politicians want. What do you matter? You don’t.  They don’t even want your vote, it is too hard to get and there are expectations that come with it.  The new voters don’t care.  They just want things and the government they are voting for will give it to them.  Of course, they will first have to take it from you, so as long as you work and pay taxes, you have done your part.  Move along.

At what point do Americans call BS on this system?  This is not your government.  You are nothing but an ATM.

Of course, it is all our fault.  The amount of people in this nation who can spell Constitution are few and far between.  Most have never read the Bill of Rights, or even understand what a “right” is.  A right, by the way, is something the rulers cannot take away from you.  Put the Bill of Rights up against that test and see where you come out.

So, here we are: the government regularly and with specific intent violates the 4th Amendment.  What are you going to do about it?  They are listening to your phone calls, reading your emails, scanning your Facebook and other social media sites, all in the name of deterring terrorism, but they cannot even stop something like San Bernardino or Orlando.  We have traded liberty for security and every warning we have ever been given has been ignored and the consequences are being suffered.  It is common knowledge that the government is monitoring all of these aspects of our lives and it is met with a shrug.  “Terrorism, what can you do?”

I reject that.

We, Americans, are about to be faced with this monstrosity head on.  This election…is that what this is?  On one side is a criminal, guilty of numerous crimes…crimes, not misbehavior, not belligerence, crimes, felonies and on the other side who knows?  Some question mark, talking and talking and saying nothing.  While these campaigns take place, the president, the ruler, the king of his own mind brandishes a pen and makes law with startling arrogance.

Who are we?  Just people paying tuition, making a paycheck, cleaning the garage, paying taxes, buying groceries all the while knowing it is out of control, that we are held hostage to a government run amok.

Paying taxes?  To what?  For what?  Simply to stay out of jail and for no other reason.  How on earth can the 16th Amendment be binding when the 4th has been obliterated by the Patriot Act?  How on earth can the 16th Amendment be binding when the 1st Amendment is under constant assault by political correctness?

We are Americans, are we not?  Does that mean anything?  Perhaps that is it, we are so segmented, categorized either voluntarily or involuntarily that our common bond has lost its adhesive. We are just random voters stumbling around until we get our chance to fulfill our purpose and vote.  So, go ahead, vote, let me know if it changes anything.

Hours After Hinting At Mandatory Voting, Obama Talks Down “Suggestion” Following Backlash

A few days ago, we showed just which “democracy” in the free world provides the best bang for a corporation’s buck. The answer: the United State of America, where “for every dollar spent influencing politics, corporations get $760 back.”

We doubt the above glaring example of terminal capture of the three branches of government by moneyed corporate interests is what drove it, but yesterday Obama, seen here with America’s crony capitalist #1…

… suggested that if American voters want to “counteract” the role of money in politics, it may be worth making voting mandatory.

“It would be transformative if everybody voted,” Obama said during a town hall event in Cleveland, Ohio. “That would counteract (campaign) money more than anything. If everybody voted, then it would completely change the political map in this country.”

Obama also added that the people who tend not to vote are “young, they’re lower income, they’re skewed more heavily toward immigrant groups and minorities… There’s a reason why some folks try to keep them away from the polls.”
He’s right, however there is another far bigger reason why those young, immigrant “folks” stay away from the polls: their completely disillusionment with the “most transparent administration in history” and a mendacious president whose promises of “hope and change” only envisioned the richest 1% even as nearly 50 million Americans continue to subsist daily on food stamps.Oh and the whole, “illegal immigrants don’t pay taxes so they can’t vote” thing. Although Obama is already aggressively working on making sure (tens of) millions of immigrants who are in the US illegal can also vote if they so desire.Apparently this brazen attempt to pander to the current and future generations of democrat voters was not lost on everyone, and earlier today the White House walked back President Obama’s comments in favor of mandatory voting in the U.S.AS reported by the Washington Times, “The president was not making a specific policy prescription for the United States,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest. At a town-hall event in Cleveland on Wednesday, Mr. Obama described compulsory voting as “a better strategy” in the short term than pushing for a Constitutional amendment to counter increased campaign spending in the U.S. since the Supreme Court’s ruling in the “Citizens United” case.

Mr. Earnest said Mr. Obama was giving “a pretty open-ended answer” in response to a question about the impact of money in elections.

Sen. Marco Rubio, Florida Republican, slammed the notion of mandatory voting, noting the decision to skip an election is a form of free speech protected by the First Amendment.

One thing is unclear: whether it is funnier that someone still believes the amendments to the constitution, or even the constitution itself, have any relevance in a nation which is turning more authoritarian and klepto-fascist by the day, that somehow illegal immigrant voting will make any dent on the 26,000% IRR that Goldman Sachs gets from purchasing Congress (and controlling the world’s central banks), or that someone even pretends to care what happens to future generations in a nation which will have $20 trillion (and over $100 trillion in other forms) in public debt.

‘Calibration issue’ in Maryland voting machines switches GOP picks to Democrat

BUSTED? Voting machines in Maryland are moving Republican votes to the Democrats’ column. By Jessica Chasmar

A calibration issue in multiple Maryland voting machines is reportedly switching voters’ picks from Republican to Democrat.

“When I first selected my candidate on the electronic machine, it would not put the ‘x’ on the candidate I chose – a Republican – but it would put the ‘x’ on the Democrat candidate above it,” said Donna Hamilton, who voted at the Frederick County Center, Watchdog.org reported.

“This happened multiple times with multiple selections. Every time my choice flipped from Republican to Democrat. Sometimes it required four or five tries to get the ‘x’ to stay on my real selection,” she said.

Miss Hamilton said she notified officials of the problem. “I’m not sure what was done about it. If someone is not paying close attention, they could end up voting for the wrong candidate,” she told Watchdog.org.

Queen Anne’s County Sheriff Gary Hofmann, a Republican, said the same thing happened to him when he voted early in Queen Anne’s County.

“This is happening here as well. It occurred on two candidates on my machine. I am glad I checked. Many voters have reported this here as well,” he told Watchdog.org.

Two other Maryland voters reported the same issue Friday in Anne Arundel County. A Diebold touchscreen voting machine switched their Republican votes to Democrats, Watchdog.org reported.

Joe Torre, election director in Anne Arundel, called it a “calibration issue” involving a single machine, Watchdog.org reported.

A similar issue was reported in a Chicago-area voting machine last week, as a Republican candidate for the Illinois state legislature tried to vote for himself and ended up selecting his Democratic opponent.

“While early voting at the Schaumburg Public Library today, I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” Jim Moynihan said in a blog he linked to on Twitter. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”

He said he also tried to vote for fellow Republican Larry Kaifesh in the 8th Congressional District race, but the vote was again cast for the Democratic opponent, U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth. Mr. Moynihan said he brought the error to the attention of a judge, who determined the machine hadn’t been calibrated correctly.

Jim Scalzitti, deputy communications director for the Cook County clerk’s office, said the machine in question was removed from service to be re-calibrated immediately and that there were no other reports of voters having similar problems.

Mr. Moynihan was eventually able to cast the correct votes.
